Reading from Book 1, Section 6-10, of Vigilius, Bishop of Thapsus' "Against Nestorius and Eutyches: Five Books in Defense of the Synod of Chalcedon".
Vigilius, Bishop of Thapsus, was a North African Bishop, who along with others, was exiled from North Africa by the Vandal Arians; he seems to have ended up in Constantinople during the time of the Acacian Schism, and thus, felt compelled of necessity to write in defense of the Ecumenical Synod of Chalcedon and defend the Orthodox Faith.
