In this video, you get to watch a pond turtle as it swims along underwater in the Eel River. This turtle was found along the edge of the deepest part of the river, resting near some submerged rocks. It swam away upstream as I filmed. It's neat to see how fast turtles move in the water! They are comparatively slow on land, but they sure can move in the water!
