Yeah, Bank of America is cheapening the feel of the Boston Marathon. The logo's explanations are ridiculous - I think they should have just put a new logo out and not tried to justify it (i.e. cover up the commercialization and money-grabby-ness of Bank of America). Next year is my 10th consecutive so I've seen the race through this latest sponsor change. Also, no one talks about how Adidas made the expo basically a circus. It was more about hair products, extensions, and house gutter solutions than running stuff. It seems Adidas has made some kind of contract deal where they don't let anything remotely competitive to them be at the expo. Literally the worst expo in the majors now.
