The amount of tolerated racism I’ve seen on the Korean server is insane. German streamer Noway4u added another player after the game and wanted to talk to him because he said he was sad, once the player knew he was German he spammed Hitler, if you have a Chinese name you get run down on purpose, „go back to where you came from“ comments on every stream I have watched (Agurin, Noway, Lathyrus, Elite500). Quite sad really.
a little before that he first said: nice! supp gap when his nautilus roamed mid and helped him, then on the way back he started talking about how actually he is more insane cuz he was winning mid even before that (+ I am not 100% sure, but I think he also got ganked/roamed on first) and then finally said that mid gap led to supp gap, and that if you disagree you are a supp main
Some streamer I think hosted a tournament to pit NA streamers against EU streamers to see which region is the best between the two. Not sure if all of them but some of them flew to Korea to play.
The current state of solo Q is not it, ive seen people in diamond games they barely know how to use a keyboard and this happens every 3 of 5 games, so it's not a surprise we see westerners in kr challenjour
