Miss my dad, you’ve got the same dry wit ,”Shorts down to their ankles , just a different breed 🤣thanks for reminding me that laughter is the best form of medication .
Can’t believe your in Weston super mare…my mate got out of the rehab there last weds…broadway lodge…in there 3 months just over and was successful in coming off over 120ml methadone…he told me there’s drinkers and drug users everywhere
Weston super Mare is my hometown and I was back there only last week. I joined the Army back in 92, ended up serving for 25 years and retired back in 2017. Following retirement I settled in Germany and always enjoyed my twice yearly visits to WSM. Sadly what we see here is repeated a lot through Weston. Also very sadly, I can't foresee any improvement within the next twenty years...
Hiya Billy, nice to see you visit my hometown, I went to my first meeting in that YMCA in 1989, when I'd just got back from Los Angeles after living there for two years. Came 'home' with a massive crack habit which was immediately 'cured' 'cos there was no white there in '89, so I got on the brown instead. Celebrated 18 years clean last week and will do a meeting in WSM next week when I'm passing by on my way to Devon. Keep up the good work kidda x
I've never been there, but I remember some of my family going there when I was a kid, they said it was lovely, it don't look that bad, like anywhere it's the ppl, nearly choked on me Sunday dinner, £70 sheets forra ticket, someone's doing a roaring trade, that's a proper earner, cos I bet there's a ton of kids in there, on that fuckin nitrous bollox or hippy crack as they call it, i bet it's nothing like the crack I've used, even the shite 😆, ppl will take owt if you tell them they'll get off on it 😆, gwan Billy, tell u what though mate, where all these refugees at, Y never see 👀them on the streets, too busy sat in there 4⭐ hotels, on there top of the range i phones, hope you get home ok. ✌️😎.
Good ol weston and Brean serves as the closest seaside holiday for the brums and many working class bristolians alot have vans on site around . English folk , weston is also the capital of rehabs surrounded by gypo sites its all good don't change it.
There are plenty of teenage kids on our estates in south bristol that have never had a seaside holiday in their lives if your wondering how broken the system is have a think about that ! Weston is 25 mile down one road.
I’ve been clean from crack coke and heroin 5 and a half years but I’m on prescription Subutex and I drink. I’ve done about 10 years in and out of prison. I wish I could b like u. Anyway love your videos bro keep going. Say hello to your bro as well. ❤
worked down in Bristol and Digged in Weston Super Mare years ago. Was a mint place. Coming from the North West didnt even think it was ruff or anything ha
They do it a lot with seaside towns. It's not fair on these towns. They don't have the facilities to cope with these people. The government has deliberately given the seaside towns a kicking when they were already down. How are they ever supposed to get visitors back when they have zero investment and thousands of crackies from all over Britain dumped on them causing trouble? No one wants to spend their free time and hard earned money visiting somewhere like that.
I went to a rehab there, I was there 4 days, and they found a body in a bin behind tesco or asda can't remember and s1 nr the train station, Hope House, sad story to that gaff, they race bikes n buggys there 2,loads of events
7 years clean. I don't mean to patronise you billy, but you are proving with help you can get your life back. its got me on my first step. so. these vids dont half help wen theres no meetings on n it changes my way of thinking, so you without knowing it, are knocking my demons out clean. bit of a weird comment.................but still makes sense to me.
went there years ago bill just before the original pier burnt down, was getting a bit ropey then, cheap foreign holidays killed the british seaside resorts, some have had a go in trying to keep them going but the damage already been done...no jobs or prospects so they turn to the gear or the jungle juice
And the government has had a deliberate policy of dumping crackies from different parts of Britain in former hotels - effectively kicking seaside towns when they were already down.
@@Eleventhearlofmarsit's not fair. These seaside towns were already struggling. How can they ever get paying visitors back if the town is full of crackies? Who wants to take their kids on a day out or a week away around that?
They used to have a ferry years ago from Cardiff , all the welshys would come over on the lash on Sundays as there pubs was closed in wales …used to come in in the ol’ birnbeck pier I think … that’s all rotting out in the sea … it was compulsory purchased few years back , chap and his Chinese national wife who had it was running a brothel ring
its a shame as just down the coast from weston is lovely dune coastline and one of the country's best links golf courses at Berrow...easy to climb on the course of an evening without paying the steep green fee btw 😁
I worked in Weston Super Mare back in 2010 and the small independent shops were just about hanging on back then. Co(n)vid was the final nail in the coffin for most of these businesses
Western super mare I have great found memories of the place back in the very early 2000s we ended up at a super club one night after hours with the owner smashing out free drinks to us and filling the dance floor with water it was epic spent a couple hours sleeping in a taxi rank after being chased by cops as our car was in a security car park that was closed off until 7am 😂
I’m an American and I’m not familiar enough with England to know why the seaside towns are so bad but I’m guessing Europe is close enough, cheap enough and nicer to go to instead ?
That’s one of the reasons but a lot of these seaside towns have been abused by their own local councils who haven’t invested enough to stop their decline.
Our national government has a deliberate policy of dumping crackheads from all over Britain in seaside towns. What our government has done is effectively take seaside towns that were already struggling through competition from foreign holiday resorts and decades of zero investment - and give them a further beating when they were already down. I feel sorry for these towns. They have been used as a dumping ground for the most vulnerable people in our society - and given zero resources and zero money to deal with this.

It's funny ain't it you'd have expect the seaside towns to be the towns that are still half decent but most are depressing I still like to visit thou purely nostalgia of it
@@thechunkyone7118I can’t get nostalgic anymore about Rhyl in North Wales, I used to love it when I was a kid in the late 70s and early 80s but now it’s awful, it’s a pure ghost town. Used to have a caravan in Towyn just past Rhyl, towyn is still pretty much decent and as it was. Out of all the places in north Wales Rhyl seems to be the worst affected area, are the local council there corrupt or something?! 😂
Have you seen the BBC news Billy about nine held after two being attacked with knives in Bristol, it was literally just the other side of the M32 from where you were in your last video.
Any seaside town in the UK even if a nice place costs too much for a break when you can jump on a cheap flight and get the sun and nice beaches. These places are finished now and will just get worse! They don't stand a chance. That one looks like it would have potential if you ripped all them arcades out and constant shite fish and chips shops. But like I say it's too late. Sad these places were magical for a kid 30 years ago
Well it hardly helps when your national government has a deliberate policy of dumping crackheads from all over Britain in seaside towns. I actually think many seaside towns could have a fairly decent future were it not for having thousands of crackies dumped on them. They'll never get the same numbers going for their main holiday but they could get people there for a day or weekend. But when they are used by the government as a place to dump the nations crackies, the seaside towns don't stand a hope in hell. It's not fair on the crackies either - these seaside towns don't have the resources or money to deal with so many people with complex issues dumped on them.
I was at the first woman’s unity day in Edinburgh and passed on to a woman that knows you to thank you when she sees you. 6 weeks today and instead of a cult jw program I have a group of women that love me for me ❤️🔥
I will be at the Glasgow convention in July the gifts of recovery are there when you just for today don’t pick up. I love the compassion you show these people and you led this non believer through the doors. If anyone is struggling give one meeting a try you might be surprised these people love you when you don’t love yourself and the drugs are hugging you anymore x
You don't half get about Bill blimey. I've recently become homeless, feel like a snail with no shell hobbling along on a broken ankle, getting gorped at by the small minded like im shit on a shoe. Still dodging the goblins trying to pull me down them holes. And fighting demons left and right, but when i do get to sit down for a bit watching your videos really helps to keep me grounded. Thank you.
We let them third world countries in our country now we’re be coming a third world country all the sea side places are all the same shit run down good video
I agree. There hasn't been a conservative party for years now. All the same now corporations best friends. Independent is the only way for some change, eventually. Got to start somewhere.
