I've been told that I'm an old soul for most of my life. I vividly remember visiting with my great grandpa a few years before he passed. We would talk music a lot and 20-ish year old me mentioned how I had recently discovered Bob Wills. Pops told me that he had always been one of his favorite artists and that he saw Wills play in California one time...just before he went to Europe for the war! Pops was in the 35th infantry and went ashore D-Day+1 and also was at the Bulge.
