I was trying for 2 weeks to send someone money using Western Union. Neither in my town, nor at his could they help in the Western Union offices. He even spent around 2 hours once hoping he could finally receive his money because he was counting on it to pay his bills. I couldn't get any support online, per Email or via telephone and neither did he even tho he had the code and all data was correct. I tried 3 times to send him the money, but in the end I always had to cancel it and I don't care anymore because I don't want to deal with WU ever again in my life, but I'm pretty sure you're still owing me money. In the end I asked a friend and it took him like 20 minutes to send the money via PayPal and for the person I was sending it to to confirm that he received the money. Worst. Payment. Experience. In. My. Life.

Ersek and Western Union had better re-evaluate blockchain technology or their competition will undercut their rates. Soon they will be the Blockbuster Video of cross-border payments.
