We hired a Grand California for a few days and whilst I loved the drive of it, there were definitley some niggles. There are a couple of videos on the channel of our experience if you are interested. Maybe they will address these items in the udate of the Crafter which is coming very soon... cheers JT
And the MAN options list inc. 4motion/4x4. Very easy to get carried away. You can get folding seats that fit. Those side extension pods arnt a great idea IMO, however, there are several body panels available that give you enough room (e.g. evomotion). For anyone looking to self convert, there isnt anything that comes close to the TGE. And it wasnt that long ago you could get top spec, 4x4, for under 35k inc VAT.
@@robfodder5575 shame you can’t get one for close to that price anymore ! It does look a great base van, and coming from a California a lot of its controls and options would be familiar . Cheers JT
