"Westfield Cars is a British manufacturer of kit cars and complete two-seater, convertible and sports cars. Its main production line focuses on Lotus Seven derivatives.
By acquiring "Caterham" the rights to the "Lotus" cars, "Westfield" established itself as an alternative company with very similar styles both in its design and in its construction process.
That situation led "Caterham" to sue "Westfield" by filing a lawsuit in the 1980s. As a result of that lawsuit, "Westfield" was forced to change the design of its cars, modifying them slightly and in some cases creating bodies as beautiful as the "Eleven".
As for the Kent Crossflow 1.6 105cv engine, it is advisable to bear in mind that the original Kent OHV block appeared in 1959 in Anglia with a capacity of 996.95 cm³ developing 39 bhp (29 kw) at 5,000 rpm. to put in perspective that this evolution came after a 1967 redesign that gave it a cross flow cylinder head, hence the alternative name of Kent from Ford Crossflow (cross flow).
This revision would feed into the smaller engine versions of the Ford Cortina and Ford Capri, the first and second editions of the European Escorts, as well as the North American Ford Pinto (1971, 1972 and 1973 only).
It is a propellant that taken to the 106cv in its version of 1.6 liters of displacement, makes the delights of a set that fixes the needle of the scale in the 460 kgs and so it has made us feel and enjoy through the eyes of Moises.
A perfect way to start the second year of videos of our channel, offering a wink to the first video we shared in his day with all who follow us.
