❤️ your sarcasm 😉 which the Nurses under me used to say was my middle name . Tiezheng: I brewed this using a tide pod. Me: thank you Jesus I’m no longer practicing medicine 😉. Good review. Product seems decent enough but somehow always gravitate to the Maple Leaf and its Signature Class. Stay safe. Stay well and don’t cross the border until the orange haired MORON is either out of office or the pandemic is over or perhaps both. 🙄. Hope your studies are going well. 👍🏻
Vicarious Voyager ... any idea what you want to specialize in? I originally thought cardiovascular since I found it so fascinating as a student but ended up in pediatrics which, thinking back, is exactly what all the Doctors training us predicted I’d specialize in. As sick as those children were, they gave more joy, hope, happiness to me than I could ever give to them. The Nurses used to hate it when I’d show up on the floor because the kids and I would create havoc goofing around 😉🙄
I am the middle aged lady having the panic attack. 😲😲. No joke, when I was flying to, Philadelphia in a bad thunderstorm one night, I just knew we were going to die. I. Already have panic attacks just the thought of flying, but I put my big girl panties on and have flown numerous times since. Still don’t like it though.
I’m a retired 767 captain with flight privileges on other carriers via inter line agreement . I’m taking notes every video. I’ll follow your lead in biz class carriers
Just wanted to say, I just found you this morning. I’m a 67yr Irish feisty Nana that spent my youth traveling the world as you do now.. Ah the days of prop planes and jets, yet the service and food 5 stars. I live in NC in the states now but have family all over the world. I stopped flying quite a while ago when multiple children came along....your videos are excellent and well orated....you remind me of my eldest son.....your sense of humor dispersed throughout is wonderful!! Love the “hungover wake ups!....lolol such truth are rare!....my nephews travel to the Middle East frequently and my youngest brother is a pro golfer coach in Europe and Middle East
But no jokes with turbulences, please. He should study history and experiencing way more tales of affected crew and passenger members regarding life-threatening turbulences!!!
@@henrikhan3824 I simply think you should not do such a kind of humour when people getting hurt in real such turbulences. By the way, I am very funny and entertaining😉
I love WestJet they have always been very classy airline always taking good care of their passengers. The flight attendants are friendly and sometimes entertaining and the pilots always kept the plane upright!
My husband and I recently discovered your wonderful channel. Your travel vlogs are excellent on several levels. Each one is absolutely delightful! Mainly, your voice is so rich, soothing, and relaxing - we look forward to winding down at the end of the day with one of your episodes. We wish you success and happiness! (When/if you have any "down time" in between medical school, job, travel, and life, you may want to consider recording audio books with that great voice!)
I was today years old when I found out that YYC is Westjet's hub, which is weird because that's my main international airport, and I take a lot of international flights to the UK. I flew on Westjet's 2nd direct flight from YYC to Glasgow about 7 years ago. I loved it, and was so happy to have a direct option to Scotland. But they stopped doing it (before covid I believe) which makes no sense to me, seeing as about half of the population of Calgary are descendants or direct immigrants from Scotland (and mostly from Glasgow).
Could not agree more re the design of the Business Cabin...looks terrific...as long as it is comfortable of course !! Thanks VV really enjoyed this flight and trip report and although we live in troubled times i felt they did their best to feed and water the guests. Well done as always and I looking forward to your next adventure as always and stay safe and well !!
I flew that route in the other direction on the same plane, but in Business Class. Hands down one of the best flights I’ve had. WestJet has such amazing customer service
In all my dealings with West Jet they have been very friendly while providing unexcelled efficiency.Having dealt with the founders of the company a few years ago, I can see what the staff use as models. Their (staff and owner's) goal has always been customer satisfaction, which always bolsters the 'Bottom Line'.
Mr V V, nice opening to the video with the "POD" combo leading into another quality trip report as usual! Oh, that turbulence simulation demonstration was a nice touch for creativity complementing your witty sense of humor :-)
So here I am, wide awake at 0530, looking at RU-vid videos, and I chanced upon this. I’ve never laughed so hard at turbulence footage in my life. Bravo
I think this is better than Sam Chui. It’s mature. Sam’s low moments are those crew talking moments, when he points to the obvious to both the audience and crew (meal served, “so, is this a meal? Great). If VV would take to talking to crew, for sure he wouldn’t do that. Besides, since Sam became famous to airline’s marketing and communications departments his videos have the background music of a natural disaster breaking news report. Without offending car owners, a comparison would be Sam Chui = Mazda/Hyundai, VV = Audi/Mercedes.
@@fecardona OMG just STFU Sam haters. Sick of seeing these anti Sam comments everywhere. They both have their own styles. If you don't like Sam, just stop watching his videos and stop bitching about him everywhere ! And i laugh when guys accuse other guys of being "creepy" . Oh plzzzz....as though you guys are goody two shoes (I don't think Sam is creepy. Just PC gone mad from haters)
I recently flew international from LHR to YVR with WestJet business class and it was a pleasure. Attentive cabin crew and a very enjoyable relaxing flight. I was very much over on my luggage and didn't face any extra charges, the complimentary lounge access in both LHR and YYC were very much welcomed and added to the relaxation of the journey. I would highly recommend them WestJet!
I like Westjet's business class seats more than those of Air Canada. It seems like whenever I fly Air Canada Signature Class internationally, the seat frequently deflates in the middle or towards the end of the flight making it feel like I am sitting on a rock. The flight attendants would then need to reset the seat (which doesn't always work).
Dude, seriously. I'd listen to you read the phone book. LOL. You have the most awesome story telling voice and a superb sense of humor. I am a subscriber and I really enjoy your vids. Stay safe.
I flew that route (on that plane) earlier in December but in Economy and it was one of the most comfortable flights I've taken with them (it may have helped that there was like 50 passengers on the plane lol). Wish I could've taken this plane to London when I flew with them. Also, Calgary airport has been stupid busy every time I've gone through there during the pandemic.
Thank you for being a vapid millenial and catering to my incredibly short attention span by providing constant entertainment along with cutting edge CGI.
Rooting for westjet! However I wish the planes and settings were different from AC. Hopefully Westjet can expand their international destinations soon (especially to Asia)
Fantastic trip report! They seem to have a good Business Class product. The seats in other classes look comfortable as well. The turbulence was very strong, almost like on my KE experience which lasted about 5 hours 😅😅
"During plague season" 😭. You are the wittiest Airline Reviewer out there. I could listen to your voice all day its so calming. I really like West Jet BC 👍 Pleb Class was decent aa well. No complaints on the hard product.
Watched this because I was interested! I fly from Calgary to Cape Breton every year to visit my family, and I've never ever had a bad Westjet experience, they're always so sweet and their service is impeccably consistent. I'll definitely consider paying the extra $50-100 for more comfortable seating in the future now that I know what I've been missing from those 5-8 hour flights LOL
Outstanding vlog once again.... I like Westjet, who is bankrolling them?! You’ve sold it to me, that I wonder what their economy (“pleb” class that I find myself flying all the time....) would be like to London? Amazing vlog once again full of personality!!
I hope to see more reviews of you soon! So funny and so refreshing compared to all other "Oh so serious" in the air reviewers! Thanks for making me laugh!
random question - would you remember where you got the backing track at 4:14? I know that track appears in a Joyce Wrice song, but I can't find any non-vocals versions of it. Love your reviews btw!
I so enjoy watching your flight reviews. Very informative, and funny. Wish I could join you on the first class and business class flights. Oh well, my next flight will be to New Zealand (auckland) next year. THanks again
I have now idea how LAURENT PERRIER GRAND SIECLE tastes . It is however an expensive non-vintage Champagne selling for close to 200 for a 750 bottle. Aside from that quibble, I loved your video and will watch more . Wonderful humour .
