Have you noticed that raw meat now only gives health to animals it doesn’t increase your health points anymore just your hunger and thirst, can you tamed animal die in battle ? And if so does it respawn and loose lvl or do you just loose it

I haven't noticed myself so I will need to look at that now. With you tamed animal, it will get injured and limp until you either heal it or take it back to your base.

That would be helpful, though the longer you play you will start to notice where they are.

Yes they do take a considerable amount of time, hopefully they change this in the future.
