My sister passed away on 20/2. This song will be played as her coffin is leaving the chapel to the burial place . This is my favourite song to celebrate her life as a born again Christian fighting illnesses and tragedies during her lifetime but always looking to the cross and carried on as a true soldier in the army of the Lord .
I am going through a very tough season but this song (in this moment) has brought me peace. That part "I am strong when I am on your shoulders" brought me peace! I walk on stormy seas 🌊 because Jesus holds my hand, God's gaze is fixed on me and I am not alone!
I will be singing this at church today. It been an month since I loss my mother and this song is what I have listen to ever since and I felt it was fitting to do it.😔❤️
Tiffany Simons I can honestly identify myself with you my mom passed 3 weeks almost to be a month and only God can give us the peace that we need. Remember it’s not a goodbye but a farewell. We have hope in those who have passed to be reunited when God comes again.
My late mother loves this song. I was born as an autistic child in the family and she has gone through many hardships and challenges to help raise me for who I am today, and this song is her inspiration about our life. Of how she raises me and made me who I am, through the struggles we go through to now. Even though she's no longer with me and I really miss her, our memories still remains. And this song will always be within my heart and I'll keep hearing this everytime I remember her. Thank you, mother. For raising me up and making me more than I can be.
My Nan passed away listening to this song last night. She absolutely loved it. Couldn’t move anymore but still managed to shed a tear before the end. Thank you West Life I owe you more than you could imagine. RIP Nan 15/05/21
We played this at my brothers funeral, he was 77, lived and loved life to the full, it is one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard, I still cry when I hear it and some times just play it and think of him, thank you for this beautifull powerfull song, Edna Trevena❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Don't worry, you're not the only one watching this in#2022. And lots of decades to come, we'll still play, listen and sing this song. You raised me up...❤️💯
My grandmother’s favourite song. This world could definitely use more people like her, kind, loving, caring, giving, honest, helpful, etc. I miss you so much, Grandma.
Thank you Jesus. You have raised me and lifted me up when I was deep in the ocean where there was no light. You reached down to where I was and pulled me up. Thank you.
I lost my father about 4 months ago , still fresh in my mind that he's such a great father and such a strong person that I know. He died happily , see you when I see you pap. You already see the God. I'm proud to have you

When l am down and, oh my soul, so weary 내 영혼이 힘들고 지칠때 When trubles come and 괴로움이 밀려와 my heart burdened be 나의 마음을 무겁게 할때 Then, l am still and wait here in the silence 나는 여기에서 고요히 당신을 기다립니다 Until you come and sit awhile with me 당신이 내 옆에 와 앉을때까지 You raise me up 당신이 나를 일으켜 주시기에 so l can stand on mountains 나는 산에 우뚝 서 있을 수 있고 You raise me up 당신이 나를 일으켜 주시기에 to walk on stormy sees 나는 폭풍의 바다도 건널 수 있습니다 ㅣam strong, when l am on your shoulders 당신이 나를 떠받혀 줄 때 나는 강인해 집니다 You raise me up 당신이 나를 일으켜 to more then l can be 나보다 더 큰 내가 되게 합니다
Today is 11th Jan 2019......Today its been 15 years to the date since my Dad passed on to the other side...And just out of freak coincidence I am listening to this song. It was after the song started that I realized that today is his death anniversary.
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary; When troubles come and my heart burdened be; Then, I am still and wait here in the silence, Until you come and sit awhile with me. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up: To more than I can be. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up: To more than I can be. There is no life - no life without its hunger; Each restless heart beats so imperfectly; But when you come and I am filled with wonder, Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

I lost my dad to the Covid 19 four days ago. Despite I'm in my mid 30s I was still daddy's girl, I can't imagine life without him. I kept hold of my phone the whole day yesterday hoping that my dad would call me to wish me happy Easter but he never did. It hurts a lot he died alone in the hospital without having me beside him. I love you daddy you will always remain alive in my heart.
This was my first ever song that found out had true meaning of fighting for any form of advocacy and I routing for this video to reach 100 million until I found out this morning and I cannot believe it. I owe it all to Westlife. If it wasn’t for this inspiring boy group, there wouldn’t have been something remarkable song on the Internet not only to listen to when you’re feeling under the weather, but also trying a treasure a song like this continually and endlessly for a charming smile or a moment for tears of joy anytime.
