Hi Everyone! Chocolatesheikh, kindly let me know that MILK Makeup's loose setting powder is discontinued. I'm not sure what I would be replacing my loose setting powder with at this time, but I'm happy to keep testing Westman Atelier's Vital face powder until I find something interesting to try.
Looks beautiful Michi, love the demo in natural light makes such a difference to see product in natural light, I've tried to start doing that too. Wow that blush is gorgeous! 🥰
Hey Mel! Yes, I agree the daylight check in really makes a difference. I enjoyed seeing you being in the daylight. Your makeup always look so good too!!!
Woot! I am so excited for this! Editing as I watch. Are there minerals like zinc in that powder? Worried it might flashback. That blush on you is divine. The brown of your lips makes every lip color look incredible on you. I feel like I have majorly missed out on the Kosas powder.
You guys are the nicest with the compliments! I did not grow up with people always saying nice things about my lips. There is zinc laurate, the first ingredient on the list. I have not tried using flash photography to see what happens, but will try for science and let you know!
@@MichiMakesUp The first time I watched a review of yours I thought the same thing, your natural lip color is divine and makes everything look bomb 💗. Great review!!
Thank you for the great wear test Michi! I’m SO curious about this product. You looked like a teenager in your first check in when you were outside. I think the product held up beautifully. 😍❤️
Ruth! 😆 You make me giggle hehe teenager. That hair at the end of that first check in had me like. 🫤 Good thing it was the last bit. I’ll be wearing the powder again today.
You are right! Thank you for letting me know. Doesn’t look like they have a replacement. The Eau de Blush is coming very soon I hear! I’ll be sharing the news as soon as I can confirm.
Thank you for the excellent review and also for the advice on the colour!! I'm deciding between translucent and creme so you're feedback really helped a lot !
You are so welcome! I love the brightening effect of Translucent, but I think Creme is going to be something I need as I get more sun during the summer.
Hi Michi! Thank you so much for this 8H wear test! It looked lovely on you throughout the day. (Then again, you look beautiful with a bare face.) Thanks in large part to you (your videos) I have several WA products (foundation, highlighter, contour, blush) and in hot weather, they remain tacky all day. Do you think this powder would help to set the WA cream/stick products? Or do you recommend another powder? Thanks again.
The Milk powder sets the foundation very well, but I was just informed it is discontinued. I was using Chantecaille’s talc-free loose setting powder before and it worked too. I’m not sure the WA pressed powder will set as well as a loose powder. You can try using puff to set any areas still tacky and then use a brush to sweep excess. Would take an extra step, however.
just subscribed :) im curious to see how the translucent compares to the pink bubble one. and also what brush did you use to apply the chanel tint blush? thanks
Hi Aline! Welcome and thank you for subscribing! Sonia G.'s Mini Base from her Keyaki set is what I used, but that is sold out. Not sure it's coming back, but you can get the same brush in her Fusion set and you can purchase the brush individually. The difference is the handle to the Fusion set is standard Sonia G. brush length whereas, the one I used was from a mini set. bit.ly/2VQ5e8m
Hi, I am enjoying your channel, great content. How does this powder compare to Kosas powder? Would you choose this powder over Kosas or Saie? Thanks in advance.
Welcome! Thank you so much. I like the WA powder for all over face. The all-day hydrating is really beautiful. The Kosas powder I love under the eyes, because I find the hold to be a bit better than the WA for that specific area. The WA powder in translucent is also too white for me when I'm going in for a touch up under the eyes late in the day.
I was curious about this product I don't own anything from this brand yet. I like the powder has a blurring effect. I like using the Rephr 31 brush also for cream pigmented products I find I don't like how it blends the foundations.
Same on the Rephr 31, Julia! It does well with pigmented cream products, but for foundation, I like using some of my other brushes. I hope your week is going well!
I have not tried their loose powder. Have tried their ambient lighting powders which, doesn’t set makeup well for me. No oil control, but they look beautiful as a finishing powder.
