Welcome to my first of two videos from a trip to the Westmoreland Mall Card Show back on 10-21-23.
This video shows five vintage baseball purchases that included a lot of cards for my 1950s and 1960s Pittsburgh Pirates teams sets.
I upload a TTM video on Mondays, and I upload an autograph and/or trading card video on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Frank Thomas has a 1954 Bowman rookie card, his first Topps card is from the 1956 set. Frank was a personal friend of mine that I met, first through the mail then in person. We kept in contact on and off for nearly 25 years. He was a great person and did so much for charity in Pittsburgh. I'm hoping one of these days that the Pirates will make him part of their Hall of Fame.

@@beneasterling3846 I love hearing about your interactions with Frank Thomas. I’m not sure why I was thinking that 57 was his rookie card, but I appreciate your clarification. He was so nice about sending Christmas cards. I was fortunate enough to meet him on two occasions, and he was really nice.

@mathbowler2782 yeah greengate was closed I think in the 90's . Wasn't as big as westmoreland is . Plus it was on other side of Greensburg. I hope to be down that way in early Aug to go to steelers training camp , I was actually born in Greensburg
