Westwood T80 - A guide to the modifications that can be made to the garden tractor/ ride-on lawnmower to make it into the excellent machine that it should have been when it left the factory.
Thank you very much for this. Very informative. The Deck cutout when touching reverse drives me mad. This is very handy to know (risks fully accepted!).
Fantastic video! Have you shown Westwood this video because from past experience I have found that they are very good at listening to their customers. I am assuming all the new plastic guards are to abide by the current safety legislation so they must feel it is a necessity.
Great video! I have a Westwood S1300, but the design defects are a real pain. It takes hours to replace the transmission belt because the collector pully nut is 2mm too close to the pully nut on the rear transmission. A pile of other defects drive me around the bend. From a company with so much experience, it is astonishing these basic errors exist or have not been fixed: the newer models like the T80 have more design defects, which is why I have been using my old mower for so long. Had enough and am switching to Kubota. Hope they have more brain cells engaged in their design department.
Hi, great video, very well presented with some excellent tips. I am interested to know what you think of the v25/50 compared to the T80 for your application?
non cranking, the parking brake light flashes when you turn key to crank position, switch on parking brake working, and seat switch, also bypassed them for testing, still no cranking. its like a computer is not allowing it. any ideas? Hate they way they overcomplicated a basic lawnmower
So you paid money for this machine, I would assume without demoing it for any period of time, you hated the machine (kind of explains why), then dismantled most of it and now you happy with it hope you are not doing it to everything you own
