When Delores first talked to ‘Charlotte’ she said “You have to leave, before you’re missed” - which is a nod to what Bernard used to say to her at the end of their visits “You should leave, before somebody misses you”. Cool detail. Basically a nice way of saying “get back to your charade”

I’d LOVE it if Ford showed up in a dream, memory, flashback, simulation, or if his consciousness is somehow encapsulated in one of those remaining pearls. I don’t even care if it’s a bit contrived. Nothing would make me happier than more masterful scenes with the brilliant Sir Anthony Hopkins.

I can't stop thinking about one thing: why Dolores have to print a body for fake Charlote in Arnold's house if we saw her leaving the park last season in a Charlote's body????? What happened to the Charlote's body she was using when she left the park? Why did she have to make another one? WHYYYY??????

I agree that Dolores arranged the meeting with Caleb but one explanation of her revival is the blood he gave her as William used Lawrence’s blood to bring back Teddy in Season 1, Episode 5: ‘Contrapasso’. The symbols Hale has scratched into her body look like Orion’s belt. In season 1 ‘the stray’ the woodcutter, who was trying to upload data, also carved this symbol. The inner Charlotte trying to get a message out?

I truly like your videos, unlike other channels yours arent merely a recap/stating the obvious or regurgitating the same old theories. You take changes (sometimes wrong/ sometimes right) and analyze the show piece by piece, adding to an over all conclusion. Great work!

I agree that we are seeing events in a non-linear way. Nice job noticing the pregnancy. Other possible indicators to the order of events: the evolution of how robots look to indicate the timeline of technology (Caleb's co-worker robot George that tries to save him vs the drone that helps Maeve escape vs the white humaniod helper robots in WW vs the hosts...and now also the RIOT robots) Side note: I believe we are seeing the hosts exist alongside this evolution bc we're seeing it as the evolution of "helpers & protectors". RIOT-bot protecting Charlotte, George bot protecting Caleb, Drone bot protecting Maeve, Humanoid bot protecting Cradle & Forge, hosts protecting hosts (Stubbs protecting Bernard), virtual bots protecting programming (Hector/Lee protecting simulation Maeve). Also in following set design there seems to be a timeline in evolution of the forge that we're going to see. The forge in WW has mutisided pods emerged in floor of red water. The place Maeve's Pearl was being stored has multisided pods on a red floor, in a concrete building with green plants outside. The skyline shot when Charlotte is in the helicopter going to meet Doloras at the restaurant: the restaurant building is covered in green plants, the floor we can see behind it is red rooftops, beyond the roof tops are multisided pod-like skyscrapers. The fisherman who took Bernard to WW said "I was here when this sea was red" or something like that. I feel like that's a reference to the Forge, cause blood from the massacre wouldn't have caused the sea to turn red that far out. Ever notice the skyline in ariel shots looks like Rohobum spikes, as tho we're seeing Rohobum from the inside (ie: the mirror world). I have a feeling the events in Season 1 and 2 took place in the future of events happening now. If Rohobum technology happened first, then pearl technology happened next, to either ensure or prevent the future, Rohobum splits knowledge of it between 5 pearls, and bc these pearls have knowledge of past, present and future, their sense of time is all messed up cause it's like they're experiencing it all once...like Bran in the Weirwood kinda lol...a loop. I'm probably totally wrong on all of this lol. Fun to theory-craft regardless. :)

I believe the pearl inside of Charlotte is: "Wyatt" Who can finally "remember what it feels like to be a predator" and who Dolores knows better than anyone, and who knows Delores better than anyone. Cemented by the spooning.

I think Dolores was not only testing Caleb, but more specifically she was testing how far he could diverge from the path written for him. She has read-only access to Rehoboem and saw him as a dissonant cog to turn in the host's favor.

You missed Rico said his implant was military grade. I don't think prisons would install a military grade implants, unless prisons and military are in cahoots in the future. Possibly prisons now supply troops depending on the severity of their crime. No longer a volunteer military. Love the close ups.

I literally didn’t watch any other breakdown cause I waited for yours. also in the first episode when we see Charlotte with the rest of the board, it doesn’t look like the same hale in the third episode.. so the theory that all of that happens before Bernard was “printed" is really smart and make sense. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL! My theory is that Hale is Maeve. She wakes up not knowing what is exactly going on, but is very quickly able to determine that she needs to go along with Delores's plan in order to achieve her goals. Once Hale/Maeve is introduced to the video of Nathan, that's when she is "reawakened" to who she was before. Meaning her corner stone is/was her daughter and this is what triggers her "awakening" and this is what we all witness in this episode. When Hale/Maeve goes to the park to pick up Nathan and witnesses her child being stalked, she understands that she is the TOP predator in this world and knowing that this IS the real world she wants to hold on to this bond because it is her cornerstone.

The fragile hale and all her manurisms remind me so much of Clementine i think Hale is Clementine I'll get a tatoo of Delores on my chest if I'm wrong. Okay internet ;)

While Hale is working for Serac, there is other mole in Delos. Maeve control unit was taken by someone else. Also, Hale lies to Serac. There weren't guest data uploaded to satellites. This data was deleted by Dolores. She transfered Sublime there.

It is strange that Sorac knows that what he needs is in a host named Dolores(he probably knows what she looks like), so he is probably looking for her. Dolores knows everything there is to know about Caleb - past, present, and even projected future - down to the Nth degree. She chose Caleb specifically and with some specific purpose in mind. I have a theory on this that is still forming but the basic idea is that she intends to liberate Caleb from his “loop” just as Ford liberated her from hers.

I think Peter is in Charlotte’s body. For some reason, I feel like there’s a connection between the self inflicted injuries to Charlotte’s body and the way Peter Abernathy’s body was bolted to the “operating chair” when the Charlotte was interrogating him during season 2’s episode “Les Écorchés”. Just a thought.

Great breakdown!! As for who is in Charlotte’s body: I think it’s most likely Abernathy. Because: 1. Delores says to the host, “You’ve known me the longest and I trust you” We know that Delores has always been so attached to her dad. 2. The host knows who the human Charlotte was, and seems to know her well. The host said, “Do I have to be her? She wanted us all dead.” 3. The host in Charlotte’s body is clearly suffering from some kind of mental issues; and we know from last season that Abernathy had a mental breakdown as well. 4. The extreme maternal instincts the host exhibits are in line with Abernathy being a parent to Delores as well. Word on the Grapevine is that the creators of the show wanted to make the story much easier to follow, and much less complicated/confusing this season. Having Delores split her personality seems way too conceptual and complicated

I’m almost positive Mystery Hale is Clementine Pennyfeather. It would explain a lot of her mannerisms and behavior. For a fleeting moment, I assumed it was Abernathy because of the season one photograph that blew his mind in Season One but they seem to be going out of their way to establish her intrinsic femininity. The notion that Mystery Hale is another copy of Dolores seems slightly improbable but not at all impossible. The more I think about it, the more compelling it gets. But I’m sticking with Clem for now.

There's another (possible) metaphor when Hale is tucking Nathan into bed and he has a small elephant (in the room). Hale replies that there are no more elephants left (since elephants are believed to have strong memory - hinting that this might be a reconstruction of reality with no past) which along with the fact that there are Rehoboam arrows on Nathan's pillows might signal that this scene is taking place in the mirror world. I know this sounds stupid and far-fetched but interpreting the depth and details in every single scene of this show is what makes is so damn good!

10:01 the mirrored versions reminded me of the ex machina movie, where a reflection was used by the director to portray that the woman robot was lying.

I don't think the Caleb encounter was necessarily premeditated. Yes, she wanted to lure Dempsey's fixer to the underpass to kill and replace him with a host, but not Caleb. Why would she later ask for a background check on Caleb if she already knew all about him? I think her getting wounded (and she did admittedly recover rather quickly) shows that she is going to need allies in this battle and that she's not invincible. It also gives his chracter development agency. Still, great review as always!

I think Dolores will actually be fighting for good in this season.

If it is a version of Delores - that would suggest she’s creating an army of herself but adjusting their qualities so they won’t vie for her leader position. Maybe she truly doesn’t trust anyone else anymore. After the situation with Teddy, she may feel too guilty to change others code again - besides herself. However, there will always be a bit of Wyatt and trauma in these replications.

I didn't even consider that it might of been William. Makes absolute sense, 1. He was is clearly one of the guests copied for their human to host project in the forge. Delores says he knows her the longest too which is true because he has tormented her from the parks founding. 2.In season 2, he was taking a fidelity test conducted by his daughter. Since both human versions died on screen, that tells me he is a host and the person giving the the test assumed the form of his daughter to put him together, that person in this case would be Delores. 3.Delores knew William as a violent predator and would have rebuilt him as such but the original William was also a father, absent from his daughter's life but still has those fatherly instincts. Both of these traits were demonstrated in those last scenes when not Charlotte killed that child predator in cold blood and kept obsessively watching Charlotte last transmission, he was empathizing with Charlotte. 4.Delores needed someone who knew Delos in and out to take Charlotte Hails position without being easily caught, William literally owned a part of Delos for years. You could try and argue that Bernarnold knows Delos too but Bernarnold doesn't fit the purposefully homicidal personality not Charlotte demonstrated. 5. The scene where Delores is holding not Charlotte seems too intimate for it to be just any host. Teddy, Delores' dad and William where the only people Delores was ever close to. She sent Teddy to the valley beyond and killed her own father in season 2. By process of elimination, William must be not Charlotte. 6. I don't know if anyone sees this but the way not Charlotte looks uncomfortable and hurts herself reminds me of how transgender people (when properly portrayed) in film and TV struggle with gender identity. This would make sense if not Charlotte is actually William, a man put into a woman's body.

Did the robot buddy try to help Caleb on his own or was being controlled... I think he noticed Caleb in danger and went to help him

100% with you in the choice of a pregnant assistant. Add to that, it was another board member that the writers ultimately selected as the appropriate character to show Charlotte “a log” that was missed- wouldn’t the natural choice be her assistant as the person to show her that?

Charlotte is Dolores and Dolores is Wyatt? I saw that theory, but reversed. I think Dolores kept the Wyatt personality and transferred the Dolores side of her personality into Charlotte. Dolores tells Charlotte (after Charlotte asks "Who am I?") that she is a strong, powerful woman (wyatt is a man technically, so does that mean she is Dolores?) Charolotte is the first stage of the machines reproducing (another reason we see a pregnant human with Charlotte). The machines can only survive and become "real" if they can pass on a part of themselves to another being (like we pass on our genes to our kids).

Did anyone else notice that the pregnant lady’s tablet had Bernard’s ID # in the corner?? 🤰🏻Her character’s name is Irene, which translates to “peace.” It would make sense if she were working with Bernard as a “peace and war” metaphor, opposite Dolores. Thoughts, haxdogma?

Maybe the Dolores we’re seeing is Wyatt. And Hale is the more grounded Dolores. IDK! I’m going crazy but I love it. I love a show that doesn’t give me everything on a platter.

Looking at Bernard at the beginning of Eps 1 with long beard and at WW with short clearly seems time line was switched. Somehow Bernard was able to import Stubbs program into his and was able to switch back and forth with that device. Hence, the comment about not hurting them too bad before switching it. Dolores also had 2 consciouses and loaded farm girl Dolores into Hale. and she has retained Wyatt.

The Solomon build was initiated in 2039, the precursor to Rehoboam, just a year after the first interaction between Delos and Serac, therefore it's fair to assume that Rehoboam's technology shares an origin with the tech within the Delos parks, whether that connection is with the cradle, forge or the Hosts themselves, we shall see.

What about the theory that we are seeing two worlds, one real and one which runs in a simulation. That scene with hale watching the message she sent from a park is not shown to us 2 times without a purpose. They defenetly wanted to tell us something with that.

I think Caleb is the host inside of Hale. The way Hale was affected by Nathan's sorrow mirrored Caleb's own pain when his mother left him at the diner.

Bigger timeline reveal: the Bernard that Dolores’ created = Caleb

Ironically, the encryption key was in Dolores' head when she hid Abernathy's mind-ball in her old damaged host body. However, I can't see the key actually being in her mind as it would disable her like it did Abernathy. So, Serac doesn't really know where it is, but he knows that Dolores knows where it's at. There are two good possibilities for who is in Hale: Clementine and Armistice. However, the relationship between the two is confusing. Certainly, it doesn't match Abernathy as some fan theories have state, but we'll see what the writers come up with. Maybe the key is still in Dolores old head back at West World as she doesn't really need it herself.

Your point on how Bernard's scenes could be much later in time than everything with, at least, Charlotte so far is really interesting. I think all of the Dolores and Caleb scenes so far are in the same period as those of her with Charlotte, but the Maeve scenes seem like they need to be more in line with Bernard--except that Serac tells Charlotte he knows Dolores has the encryption key, so that can't be right because there's just no way Maeve is going to be on the sidelines for that long. Meaning that if Bernard's scenes are in the relative future, he should have already known about Maeve being out in the world. On Dolores manipulating Caleb, I think you're on the right track. They've left it quite ambiguous so far as to how honestly she's interacting with him. I think this notion that Dolores split her personalities into Wyatt and "innocent" Dolores is very wrong. Wyatt wasn't a personality, he was a role that unconscious-Dolores was triggered to act out. Also, s2 Dolores "remembers everything" and that's the same Dolores we have in s3. If she were to fracture herself, she wouldn't be the same. Our memories do a lot of work in constructing our identity, so without her non-Wyatt parts, Dolores would not be the person we see. I think the mind in Charlotte is something more like Dolores spawning a naive version of herself. It IS Dolores in there, but one who hasn't experienced everything that original-Dolores has. All of her memories are probably in there, but she hasn't run through them, so she isn't original-Dolores--and her living as Hale is confusing the fuck out of her. She has, at least some, memories of herself as Dolores, but she's living as Hale, and that would confuse anyone. This is complicated by the likelihood of Angela being in Martin, but Angela is a fully formed host in Martin, the same as Dolores using Hale's replicated body to escape the park. The version of Dolores that's now in Hale is something new, she's an indication of how Dolores wants to make more of their species to populate, and dominate, the real world.

Surak could *easily* have just learned that Delores has the encryption key from observing the simulation Maeve was in, because Lee learned that, remember? Maeve doesn't have to explicitly tell him. Maeve figured it out and told Lee, and frankly if Surak *wasn't* monitoring the simulation (and he implies he was), he would be incompetent.

location in SF might be restaurant Caleb and Dolores are in? Silicon Valley area?

There was a bit of editing trickery in the hotel scene with Dolores and Charlotte. When Dolores arrives for their meeting in the lobby, she is wearing a long black coat. When she is apparently leaving later than evening, she puts on a short-waisted leather jacket and we never actually get to see who is sleeping in the bed. Also the bedroom in the beginning of the scene does not have sliding doors but at the end of the scene she shuts the sliding doors. I conclude that these were actually two scenes depicting two different timelines, one in 2052 and the other in 2058.
