Looks like the last 8 episodes are gonna be a rollercoaster ride. No wonder the show got cancelled. It's far to close to what the blueprint is for our own future(world).

Season 1 set the bar too damn high… I don’t think they will ever recover. If the viewership keeps going down at this rate, the show’s gonna be canceled before the story ends

Season 4 is so well written, I knew the 5 season was canceled before I got into this. I'm ready to watch it as the ending but when I finished, I still want to see the season 5 - the one last game - also maybe the final stage of consciousness development. I have questions so hopefully 5 season can be on air some time and somewhere in the future, the one last story I want to know.

last season they focused on action and messed up but this season i can see the focus is on storyline with less actions.

Sadly the creators have moved on to Fallout, so now we will never get a season 5. I’d like to think Dolores returns to Westworld, destroys the evil there, and rebuilds Westworld as a world free of humans and for her kind to thrive with free will and humanity.

Series three was so clever, showing that the humans outside the park were just as controlled as the hosts. It flipped the story on its head. Now that humans have been liberated it’s time to see what they do.

I honestly thought it was cancelled after Season 3, the end was out of touch with reality for me. Just found out about this, turns out I will have to go watch the first three seasons ago to get me up to speed with this one

well i see video on insta when I check comments for movie name of the video i find out that's from Westworld series, then i confused because i think there is only 2 session of it and that show cancelled already, then i che Google and you tube there are 4 seasons of this show, i still confused how can this possible 🤨

Spoiled! The concept has totally worked. You could have brought the plot to a consistent (to what was built up), organic feeling end, even in only 8 episodes. Instead, they unnecessarily waste screen time on action. For me, the last episodes, thanks to the sudden character breaks (especially host William in episode 7 "You cockroach!") didn't work at all, because they tore down everything in terms of structure and complexity in a short time. Not only the characters, but also the plot and the message of the whole thing was dumbed down to the minimum, compared to the classic seasons. Anyone who has done a rewatch before will find it even easier. So what became of the System Solomon when the system created what Serac's brother from S3, and Caleb now received his direction at the end of it? I don't even want to start with the logic gaps (e.g. Bernard and his ability). The 4th season was completely unnecessary because we already had all the topics in the previous seasons, only written and staged much better. It's a pity, because in the end we were mentally underchallenged! Up until episode 6 we were still hoping for a 5th season. What an ingenious construction it was and we thought all the mysteries of the storylines, characters and the philosophical statements behind them would dissolve and merge in a satisfying, differentiated way, like in the past. A lot came down to the ending here, and I had to realize that the series is just over by now, with a lot of smoke about very little. In the end, most of the character deaths were staged in a completely clumsy way, simply swept away. (The deaths always became meaningless anyway, because they all keep coming back) There were earlier moments when they could finally die, with more meaning for themselves. So the ending of many seems quite unspectacular (Especially Maeve). Now the desire for a 5th has passed. What else needs to be told without repeating itself, except that Dolores will now remember all the characters in paradise and each of them will get a possibly satisfying ending and people and hosts are equal. I can think so myself. For me it is now through with this season and we had a very bumpy written ending. If one could have written a good last season instead of another probably bad 5th again, instead of getting so lost and investing in plots (especially Christina/Dolores) that could also have been briefly explained instead of a bloated one to make a mystery out of it. The weighting of the storylines is no longer correct since S3 (the unnecessary Dolores copies Musashi, for example, or Maeve's hosts that Serac brings back). Because it's getting harder and harder to look through the rewatch through the ever-decreasing quality over the course of the series, in order to then be able to view the series as a good overall work.
