For those who've never been a wedding photographer, here's what it's like: apart from turning up smartly dressed and having all your equipment in tip-top condition (batteries charged, memory cards formatted, lenses and mirrors spotless etc), you need the patience of a saint, the politeness of Mother Theresa and the Dali Lama rolled into one, the memory of an elephant and the skill to be a professional feral cat herder. You try organising people for group photos when the bar is open and the best man has been spurned by the chief bridesmaid and those rain clouds are looming closer. Been there, done that, designed the tee-shirt. 🤣🥂😆

Great video again! Just had a week away at dalby forest and driffield in the van, awesome Yorkshire! It’s a nice lake there, go swimming up there and the water is super clean. Keep up the super work

Great video as always young Colin. We treated ourselves to a small box trailer bung every thing in it and leave the van clear when going away for a few days. I see your still struggling with the restaurant rip off . I recommend Greggs every time just take your own wine and candles!

If I was to make one comment about the wedding you were shooting, and I accept the people could see these comments. As a former wedding photographer, I used to judge the people at the event on wether they added me to the meal list - even if I got my meal in a side room, or other space. But those who included me in the meals, and the main room, often had photos of the people enjoying time at their tables, in specific groups and random stuff you often have not considered. Thank you for showing me another new campsite I may test out as I expand my overnight locations.

That site looks wonderful , a great day out as a Family , shame you have to trek right around the lake to take a shower though .
