Thank Davy, for your great insights. I only have 1 place to fish for trout in northern Alabama. It is a tailrace below Lewis Smith Dam in Alabama. They stock rainbows every month. Not a good place to learn the trout behavior of flies. I enjoy tying flies for all fish. RainbowTrout fly tying is a favorite challenge and it is enjoying.
