At least at the time of taking the video of grinding the rice, you should have removed the chappal. Even in the normal course we don't grind rice where CHAPPALS are kept.

No they are very good , better than mixer grander ,, u know we face lot of difficulty with mixer jar griender, it always off with electric shock 😂😂 ,, it will be very helpful 😅
No need for this. Just wash. Soak dal and rice seperate for 24 hours. Then put in mixie. Batter ready for ferment. Only mixie needs washing. Long soaking time will make the need for excess water unnessecary giving a thick batter just as with wet grinder.
No problem... If you like you can use normal mixer grinder. Just look for idli Dosa batter recpie online.the paste is not as fine as stone grinder but still good to make crisp Dosa.
In the first case it's gross*... Nd they r not having there food by their shoes... They are just using switch tht is present near the shoe case... Nd using hands doesn't make it "yuck"...gosh
