Beautiful craftsmanship in weaponry and military clothing. I have watched "Spectral" at least 10 times and I never get tired of watching the fantastic special effects made for the "ghosts".
Luck you. Basically my dream job, just short of making composite models for wind tunnel testing. There's a shop here in the PNW that made bungies spartan armor that you may enjoy, presuming you're not already familiar, which I'm not confident in presuming at all, lol.
I could watch that for hours :) but there's only 3 minutes. Could you guys release some lengthy footage too? i wouldn't mind if its not edited and voiced. just looking at that science fiction goodness and how it comes together is enough for me. awesome work!
I love there guys and their machine design props. But I haven't seen the helmet visors as shown in the opening scenescene of the movie...when that one soldier discover the spectral, he dons the visors over his eyes, from his helmet. They were something like sunglasses but better designed. Canot anyone help.
Good luck. Maybe contact the shop and ask what it would cost to get the data for 3d printing and I'm sure you'll find a pricetag somewhere, just not sure you'd be willing to pay it. I'd ask specifically about licensing limitations so perhaps you can get it just for personal or educational use and not commercial use...
The movie was really good, no doubts about that. However, the uncamouflaged hot glue gun in the improvised gun scene (completed with fake power drill sound), was a bit of a flop, considering the resources you have at hand. (and I wasn't paying especial attention to those details)
