The concentration with which Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers are bent over their equipment says it all: Weval is not an electronic act that goes for the carotid artery, but for the heart and the abdomen. And the hips of course, because the Amsterdam duo - a live five-piece band - is and remains a friend of the dance floor, even though their sound has become more dreamy and layered over the years. Almost cinematic, with comforting melodies and Coolen's warm wave voice as the focal point. And the new EP 'Time Goes' as another convincing sign.
