I agree with you! Ive been listening to breakcore for nearly 10 years now, and its hard to find tracks with this kind of high quality. Huge damn shame that this guy is a nonce. Maybe one day someone else will take inspiration with this kind of music.

I think it's because people into this genre are autistic or OCD, meaning they are obsessed with logic and will disregard emotions, taboos and laws, which they view as an obstacle preventing them from discovering the truth. You can tell by hearing this music that the creator is not concerned with the judgements of others, perhaps this is the explanation imo.

there’s more breakcore producers, dw. some still have done weird shit while others haven’t, but none have actually done shit like this guy did (at least to our knowledge)

Literally what I was thinking!!!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised that breakcore is blowing up because of the YT algorithm, due to Ape Escape and other break style electronic music being used in those "liminal spaces" videos, kind of similar to how Future Funk made the YT algorithm blow up City Pop
edit- (Oh sh1t, I didnt know this guy was involved in child p__n. How horrible.) uses Venetian Snares interview sample from the 2007 documentary "Notes on Breakcore" then said "wanker". But I what get Funk is saying, but breakcore has never been so big and commercialized it's allowed artists to make a lot of money at it. Hell, even V.Snares had to ask for money online in 2015 due to financial problems.
