I so relate with this exact course, I failed twice, I'm doing my third attempt this weekend. It is just a ton of stuff jammed into a short period and the way the questions are asked can be tricky. Thanks for making this video.
Yup had the same issue but eventually I snuck thru, you got this! A lot of the stuff is common sense or the answer is in the question, the principle of 3 works for me. Learning the stuff or going over it 3 times usually does the trick. Take the practice exams till you’re passing them with over 90%. Eventually you remember the questions and answers lol good luck homie!!!
Did you read the whole book? I had a few issues so, I'm barely starting to really focus. I've been stuck here, grrr. I need to pass this course already next 2 weeks, I get a bit discouraged since I talk to my mentor week;y. And I have not yet advanced, lol. Thanks, for the tips!
What’s good @ninisantrax! I did not read the books. I went directly into the course work and into the videos. It’s not a race homie no worries on being stuck for a little. Sometimes it happens to me also, my brain needs the break sometimes. Just remember repetition atleast 3 times and then take the practice test and quizzes multiple times also. I was stuck on this class also but once you pass it you will be like wtf ?? How did I get stuck on that class ?? lol I’m stuck on IT Applications now preparing for the A+ exam
What was the percentage of the questions like 51% identifies security requirements or something like that, because i need to study certain parts right? Please let me know so I don't just study everything and fail on a specific part i didn't study enough on.
@@imAbsolute0 this is the weights Identifies Principles, Policies, Practices, and Methods - 37% of assessment. Identifies Security Requirements - 53% of assessment Identifies Privacy and Compliance Guidelines - 10% of assessment. I would study it all thou to be honest, this stuff will come up in the future again and will make your life more simple.
WGU now offers grammerly for free. I used free options I found online and just made it work. Look into grammerly thou if your enrolled, it should be free
For some of the classes yes they have access to your pc and will close things down for you. The last few I’ve had for the certificates have not been that way thou. They use a tool that tell you to close the apps etc
Great info, thank you! I plan to start in July if everything goes well. For each course, like D316, will there be just one exam or will there be some quizzes? How will the scores be obtained?
Congrats on taking the leap! Every class has a bunch of info to use to study for that final exam. You don’t have to do everything, it all depends on the amount you already know. There are practice quizzes you can take to prep etc. the final exam can be taken at any point whenever you feel ready. You pass the exam, you pass the class. For 316 if you pass that exam and then on 317 pass that exam you become A+ certified also. Hope the info helps!!!
@@FarhanYAlyas so most classes are just as class then a pre assessment to measure yourself then final exam if your ready. For 316 & 317 passing both final exams core 1 and core 2 of the CompTIA A+ cert also completes the class. So yea the certs are tied into some classes. My next course is networking. After I’m done with it I’ll be network + certified along with finishing the class
Just took the OA and did not pass. Was the OA the second time the same? The questions are always worded differently so it tricks me up every time. Thanks
Some were the same but in a different type of format.Take the practice test! 1 time to see where you are at, then go over the entire quiz to see what you got wrong and only reading the correct answers. Then retake the practice quizzes and make sure you get 90% above.
@@KingLeoAudio I did do this. The scenario based questions throw me up because how they word them seems like it could be one thing but then it’s another.
