@@LeggLife Awww Hey thanks for telling me that I am terrified of the ocean haha yet I live right here in this amazing beautiful place so I have been to all the places and seen great things but haven't yet stepped foot on to a boat............. And none of you guys had life jackets I was like having a anxiety attack lol I am teasing you guys but if I was on that cruise if you guys I'd had the thing around my waist life jacket on and holding on for dear life just bc I haven't ever done it. I wanna go and take all my kids but will have to wait bc of coronavirus some of my little ones are very young. Anyhow guys have a awesome Monday chat soon.

Ok so I don't really comment on videos very often but orcas omg. My hubby's been wanting to come to Alaska for many many years and I never understood why, I've been watching your vlogs for quite a while now and I get it now. Especially since the orcas came into play. If say someone for NY and knows nothing about Alaska could you suggest a spot to stay and where? I was saving for Disney but I really think I'm changing that to an Alaska trip! Thank you so so much for sharing your experiences and for everything you do. I now have a new love for Alaska that I really never thought in a million years I would have. Thank you again!
Disney whale may not be like real whales. It’s probably a little like a whale may talk if they can talk. I remember wen I used to cross stitch, I bought Christmas stuff in June ready to make my Christmas stitching. I remember my neighbour left something in her fridge that wasn’t ment to be there.

Got a 7 nt Alaska cruise booked next August with DCL... can't wait to see The Last Frontier and experience some of what the great state of Alaska has to offer. Curious...would you ever do a DCL Alaska cruise...wanting to experience a new part of Alaska with our beloved cruise line, or is such a trip literally "too close to home" and not appealing?
I think you speaking whale did the trick!!! As I told Auburn, your cruise was just about the same as the one my daughter and I took in Sept. from Major Marine tours. We didn't see any whales though. We were told it was kinda late in the season. The water was really rough and we were told the boat might not go all the way out to Aialik if too many people got sick. Luckily we made cause I would have been so mad. We came all the way from Ohio to see glaciers. I was amazed how loud the glacier was. We got to see it calve. It was amazing!!!! We loved Chinooks too!!! Thank you for sharing your trip!!! I cant quit smiling reliving all the memories!!! 😁😁😁

Alaska is definitely one of those places you have to see and experience for yourself. However, until that happens we're thankful our videos can show off a little of The Last Frontier!

What a fun weekend! The whale cruise looks like it couldn't have been more spectacular and it's awesome that Auburn got to experience it as well! I have been wanting to read more, as I loved reading as a kid, and need to find my niche. The book, Tweet Cute, could be one for me to start with!
We went on the same cruise when we were in Seward and weren’t nearly as successful as you guys were in sightings. The weather was clearer and not raining but the waves were choppier and my husband got a little sick. But it was fun watching this video because a lot of those sightings were familiar! :-)

Wow looks so beautiful! We will be 8n Alaska next June on a cruise. Was so sad we could not go this year and had to reschedule but you made my day with this beautiful video. We did a tour with them to fox island from seward. And we got to see a humpback whale but no orcas. What an awesome day for you guys! We saw the seals too!
How was the road construction? Headed down to Homer this coming weekend. If y’all don’t have plans this coming weekend, suggest you come up with some for outside. It’s supposed to be a sunny and beautiful weekend.
The road construction actually wasn’t too bad! There was only a stretch of about a mile near Summit Lake Lodge where things slowed down because of it. Other than that we had no problems
LeggLife please tell me the pullouts around Summit Lake are still accessible? 😕 I always stop there That road construction wasn’t happening last time I was down there. Sigh

I am a little concerned about the disappointment in your voice after you passed through the rocks. "Well. We made it." I mean, come on. I know you want to make your video exciting, but.....🤣🤣🤣 How did Sherri do on the boat? Did she have to take motion sickness meds? That looks like something I want to do when I make it to Alaska, and just thinking of things to plan for. I'm glad you found your camera! You got such great footage of the whales, that would have been sad to lose it.
Sherri started taking dramamine the day before we left, however she still got a little sea sick. When you get out into the open ocean the waves change and they can really roll, so that motion wasn't great for her.
I love how you post about when you lost your vlogging camera, even though it was only temporary. I think it shows your humanity because who hasn't done that before? I mean put something down and then you can't find it.... life isn't all about fun times on Disney cruises but also about the little things that make up our lives....
Absolutely! Life is made up of a million little moments, some amazing, like seeing whales, but some are frustrating, like misplacing something. Thanks for watching :)
