I ask all my clients to have there rifles to be shooting accurately Out too 300m Before the hunt day. I’m pretty sure they weren’t lol. 👍

It’s real mate. I get this quite often. To the point where I’m gonna start charging if there rifles arnt sighted in as I ask my clients to have there rifles shooting accurately out to 300m. It’s very frustrating. But also quite rewarding when I can put them on the right track as to sighting there rifles in etc. we normally have a shot before we head out to double check but the weather was crap and the lads assured me the rifles were on. I reckon about 75% of hunters don’t have there rifles sighted in correctly. From my experiences. It’s all part of the job. 👍

Thanks mate! It amazes me how many hunters take it for granted that there rifles are shooting straight or are happy with a 4inch group at 100m. Also the advice they get from hunting & fishing on bullet speeds scope set up etc. I see and have to deal with a lot of this problem. It’s my job to put these guys on track and give them my best advice if they want to take it. I ask my clients to have there rifles to be accurate out too 300m. I’m in the process of setting up a range at our fallow block. So we can check rifles before we head out. But when I’m told it’s been done I shouldn’t need to check. The joys of being a hunting guide 👍

@@OHINERATA real good idea with the range. Being a hunting guide is a lot like being a charter operator, you have very little control over you clients.
