Mergin has found a way to really set himself apart from an already crowded travel blogger space by making very in depth coverage of places in PH. Its seems like a no brainer to spend at least a month in a given area, vlog daily, and release it but no one else is willing to do it. Covering the same tourist traps just makes you seem basic these days. What makes his vlogs great is his constant interaction with the locals. Once you get their respect you are "GOLD"!
But he also brags to viewers how he says he's working so hard on producing such vlogs when others, too, are surely working so hard ... but they don't feel the need to brag about it. Remember: it's an income - generating endeavor. You don't go around constantly saying, "Today I worked so hard. People better be grateful for what I produced." - because it's something so much to that effect. .... Yes, his vlogs are nice - sceneries, rawness, travels, locals talk. I am not disputing that. But it's basically like almost everyone else's travel vlogs, really.
@@Spy359 yes you are correct that he has mentioned several times. but actually living in the PI you will understand that uploading videos is not an easy thing and requires more effort than you will ever imagine from where your sitting on your cpu.
@@oct22022 Uh, singing aloud because you're proud of your voice is totally different than announcing to the world that you have a good voice, noh? (Hahahahah! Ano ba yan?)

I miss the sound of the airplane engine running and the pilot saying ‘prepare for takeoff’. It’s one of those soothing feeling I get when travelling. I miss travelling so much! I just wish flights were still a bit cheaper.

Cheers @ 50.2K subs! Visit Eastwood City and Filinvest Alabang inside the NCR region, please... I want your review on those 2, the same as you did before with your BGC vlog. Can't wait for that one.
That's terminal 2 which is exclusive for Philippine Airlines international and domestic flights. Terminal 1 is for international flights while Terminal 3 caters to both international and domestic flights.
10:34 You are at Terminal 2, that's exclusive to Philippine Airlines. You probably departed from there from Terminal 3 where other domestic airlines are. So you might thought it looks quite different.
Flight attendants are friendlier than most other airlines' and kind that they are willing to have conversations with passengers. Others are AUTHORITATIVE and dismissive. Thank you, Mergim, for sharing that interaction and showing the beauty of Mactan Airport.
4:05 I love to munch on those green peas with dried mangoes, they're a lovely contrast of salty peas and sweet dried mangoes (a specialty of Cebu). Pretty no-frills for economy, though. If you were at business class at the front, you would be having a more decent hot meal.
I like how your vlogs are turning into something out of seemingly uneventful nothing...really very raw...but that's how i kinda like it. not really know what to expect..keep the format, Mergim.
PAL has its own terminal at NAIA: that's Terminal 2. All PAL flights, both domestic and international leave and arrive at Terminal 2. Most international flights operate at Terminal 1, though there are few foreign airlines also operate at Terminal 3. Terminal 4 exclusively hosts domestic flights of other local airlines except PAL and PAL Express. Though there are also domestic airlines operating at Terminal 3.
PAL is a 4 STAR global airlines based on skytrax.. 4 star meaning its standard and services are way ahead and advanced than the majority of airlines on earth
i miss CEB , my last visit was last Nov 2019 before pandemic...from 2020 and 2021 wasn't able to travel due to lockeddown...looking forward before end of this yr or this coming 2023...It will be a long flight from Copenhagen via Dubai Manila with EK/Emirates and - Cebu flight with Philippine Airlines....
Liked my 4 domestic flights with PAL. ( Dumaguete & Cebu return flights) Jollibee alarm : when you come out of the building, right hand side! And a sales office of PAL.
I like your uncut vlog while travelling inside the plane or the vehicle mergim, and Salamats to the suggestion for the windows mostly lack of engineering, hehe! Welcome back to the urban jungle! Stay safe 🇵🇭🤙
9:05 - Funfact that barking sound is the PTU of all a320, a321, a319, a318 aircraft, The PTU is used to turn on or off hydraulic pressure causing the engines to turn off or on.
You landed in terminal 2. You previously arrived and departed in terminal 1 or 3. That terminal 2 is exclusive for Philippine Airlines, that's why there is less chaos. Welcome back to Manila Mergim 👍🙂
I always end up using Cebu Pacific as it seems more value for money. I used Philippine airlines once years ago from manila to Puerto princesa. Prices are always more expensive with Philippine airlines usually and Cebu Pacific has ton of flights to and from Cebu. Air Asia is another option but payments online have less surprises with Cebu Pacific
Ahh… the sound of Airbus planes after they’ve landed as they taxi to the gate… always sounds like a long metal hose being retracted. Or like a plumber retracting his “snake” , LOL…!
