Hi! Great question! It can depend on a couple of things. If you just got it recently, you can take it back to the retailer. After that, depending on the brand, there is usually a 1 year repair warranty. You would be able to send the bag in a get a repair or replacement. Look up the brand of the bag and see if the have a craftsmanship guarantee. If so, you should be able to contact them and get instructions to get her bag fixed or replaced. Hope this helps!
