Honestly, frankenpens for the win, I haven't tried making them, but I have thought about it. It's really hard to find Pentel Energel refills in stores where I live, there's always Pilot refills, but I'm afraid that if I get the wrong refill it won't fit in my Pentel Energel body. Also, you talking about "before" and stationary brands in general brought back some strong nostalgia for me. I have exited studytube when I got really depressed since it made it worse. But it is nice to see you back! I used to watch you a lot when I was in early highschool, now I'm repeating a my first year or pharmacy (I'm from Europe, it's different, I got here directly after highschool) and these videos are really homey and genuine and give me the motivation and drive to keep going. Exams are in a month and I have a long way to go, but it's nice knowing that you're still around, alive and thriving and doing your own thing. Good luck with everything! if it helps, jetpens always has a list of recommended refills/parts linked on the product page of a pen, so i usually reference that when i pick out pens and refills to frankenpen! i'm sure there's a pilot refill that will fit into the energel barrel. also i totally get you on the exiting studytube. ngl i went through a huge rut with my mental health and the pandemic didn't help either so i kinda dipped on the whole studytube thing HAHA and now i don't really know what to do with myself now that i'm back :") all in due time though! wishing you so much love and luck with your pharmacy studies! and no shame in repeating your first year; i'm taking a gap year myself and i know loads of other people who have had to repeat courses and years and sometimes even start a whole new career after spending years in their current one. do what works for you and do what you need to do!

I'm so excited to see someone else having the same franken-pen as me! I love the body of the Tombow Mono Ballpoint pen and the Uniball Jetstream has the most beautiful ink ever - so I combined them! I have only the white pen body and blank ink in 0.5mm, but you've give me the idea of getting more Tombow Mono Ballpoint pen bodies and different ink colors from the Uni Jetstream! I'm in university so I'm happy that I can use more of my stationery!
honestly it came out of my intense distaste for the tombow mono ballpoint HAHA and then one day i was like hm.... what if i just replaced the refill.... and that was a whole damn miracle and i immediately ran to jetpens to buy more!
I'm a huge fan of Farber Castell pens. The Stabile ones are really common here and amazing. They have a dark red which is one of my favourite colors since years
hi seo! my favorite mechanical pencil barrel is the pilot color eno 0.7 mm! i too hold my writing utensils close to the bottom, so this pencil’s grip is perfect for it. the only downside is that the grip discolors into an orangey yellow over time, so i recommend getting the orange pen so that you can pretend the grip isn’t discoloring 😅
