There rare breed ducks Danni. Apparently they're pn the endangered list so the owners are part of a breeding program. They actually let them out on the water and tempt them back after their swim with meal worms!. Very happy ducks x
Wet wet wet fantastic group. Never mind water below and water above. Nice music accompaniment. Keep safe warm dry and virus free both. Safe journey travels.
Danni it’s fine with me that you’re tired after working the way you do. Plus you got your T-shirt back 😂. Joe you are the best person I’ve yet to meet. Photography was fantastic! Thank you 🙏 for sharing your life.
New subscriber, enjoyed this video. I did a school trip on a narrowboat 33 years ago and have never forgotten how amazing it was. One day I might just have my own narrowboat. 🙂
The birds you saw were coots the video was a bit blurry. Coots have white beaks and Moor hens have red, I do think it's great when you still laugh and smile at the camera when you're on your bike and it's peeing down. I hope you both enjoy your journey, be safe .
Conkers are a great way to keep the big spiders away, just put a few around the boat and the fatter ones stay away, still a few of the spindly ones which will catch the flies for you
We did make a video about this a while back, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sl2lVDNFrYY.htmlsi=DuuYWmUCUuug02wG I can’t remember what we said back then but depending if you’re getting a permanent mooring or CC’ing, anywhere from £6k to £10k!
Hi Danni and Joe. Those coots were so cute. It must be so nice to be close to nature. Loved the drone shots of you going through the swing bridge. Take care. Nick
We use FCPX (on a Mac) - it’s just a slightly more in depth version of iMovie (which is free if you have a Mac) - I’d recommend starting on that first!
So enjoy watching your films. We are seriously considering a barge to live on for a while and calm down from the years of working. What size barge would you say is a good size, yours is 50ft, correct, is it big enough space wise? I guess there are plusses and minuses.....cost/fees/ moorings/manoeuvrability etc....
I love you guys! It's great to see the way you two get on... and any arguments you do have between takes do not seem to be that noticable. I've been about boats most of my life and have always dreamed of living on a narrowboat.. it was me and my wife's plan-B if we couldn't have kids...20 years on and I'm looking for a new house and with prices of things and nothing looking quite right to commit my salary to, I'm giving the narrowboat thing another thought. Not a serious thought yet, just a positive idea after a few glasses of wine, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.
We’re actually going to fit some, didn’t really think much of it when we cycled across Europe as assumed it’d be dry but it rained 50% of the time I think! Again assumed it would be dry in the summer here but that was silly as it definitely hasn’t been 😂😂
Hi Danni, Joe, Loving your cruise this week. I'm very impressed you put out extra lines for long stays. Great dinner you made Joe. Looked so Yummy. I'm with Danni, I don't like Spiders either. Danni looked so cosy enjoying her relaxing day off on the boat. Joe, I felt your pain as you got so wet going for the car. I suppose it's all part of the experience. Another excellent Video. Thank you. (Spoolbox)
@@DanniandJoeJP/With so little space I bet a lot of people have trouble with fire alarms, and cooking with windows open if you don't have an oven fan is a must, and i have a feeling I'd be cooking with a microwave more than anything If I was living on a narrowboat.
So I can teach you a little meditation technique. Pictures yourself standing in a field. Full of flowers and animal life. Notice a deer jump in one side, and see it leap out the other. Those random thoughts that come when your meditation. Let them be like that deer, remain in the field and notice them, but also let them leave. The important thing is to remain in the field. The rest will happen. ❤
wow what a great Vvlog oh and love your drone shots, amazing I do love the Bath area, and Danni the jumper looks better on you, But...ummmm the flat cap..... I keep telling hubby, they are for old men lol..... but he still keeps wearing his... That salad looks awesome....we have only ever done narrowboat living on a holiday but I do love it.... maybe when I retire come back to the uk for a 6 mth holiday in summer of course....
I have even out of bath and Keynsham for a few years and now live in Crawley Thank you for bringing memories back used to love walking bath to Bradford on Avon brings memories back love you guys ❤❤❤
Outstanding . Great filmography if that’s a word. Perfect blend of drone, cruising, storytelling, nature, scenery and the music is spot on. Couple of things? Was those Danni’s shorts when you went for the car? 🤭 and Danni works but have you retired? 😉
Thank you! Yeah I think that’s a word, or videography I guess. 😂 they’re my short shorts I love them, think I’ll be wearing shorts through winter as well I can’t stand jeans at the minute. Haha. Believe it or not I’m a full time RU-vidr now, crazy what opportunities are out there low for more ‘creative’ jobs. It doesn’t fund both of us yet but we’re working on it!
FireAngel FA6720-R Battery Standalone Kitchen Heat Alarm 10 Year Battery Powered (403PT) £17.99 I've installed them in sheppard huts and had no issues. Good luck..
That’s a wood spider, very docile you really have to try hard to make it bite you. You can have it run around on your arm and hand it won’t bite unless you hurt it somehow. I move them by hand off my porch all the time. On cool days they will settle down on you because they are loving your body heat.
Hi guys… Can I ask regarding your drone footage, do you fly it and steer boat at same time ? I live on a small trad and have an early Mavic drone but scared to fly it near boat as being all steel I thought would affect the fly to home or landing? Also the trees! 👍🏻
Yeah it’s a bit precarious but we take off from the moving boat fine, landing is a bit trickier but we just slow right down and fingers crossed it works!
