How!? He outplayed him in the wildcard. Lions couldn't do nothing with Pukachu Nacua and the refs did them a solid so Detroit can have their 'Feel Good' sports story
@@jonathanmuldrow8458 guy who says Detroit gets favored by Refs is funny. There were calls that went both ways but you are too caught up in your "Feel Bad" to be objective. Lions secondary had some major holes in it last year that Puka and everyone else took advantage of, so you are comparing Puka against the close to worst pass defense secondary of the Lions against Amon Ra ... sure makes sense. Whatever you need to create your own reality that you can live with I guess.
saw that! Jesus loves you! God bless! Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Psalms 62 - Truly my soul finds rest in God; ... my salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; ... He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Let's see what's more likely, a rookie who's done it ONCE (Nacua) doing it again, or a veteran who's proven to be a top-5 WR in the league who has done it from day 1 and for the better part of 3 years (Sun God) doing it again?
I don't think you understand what a "break out" is. The fact ARSB is already up there in top 5 means a breakout for him isn't really realistic. When you get to that spit the key is trying to stay consistent. It'd be like saying who's more likely to have a breakout, Justin jefferson or Pickens. Like Pickens might perform far better than his last season and have a "breakout" but for JJ he'd have to go for a 2k to be a breakout even if his average season still puts him at the top. Puka has a lower baseline even if he had a monster rookie season compared to rookies numbers whereas ARSB would have to do alot more to move from a top 5 to a top 2. It's not them saying who's gonna have a better season it's who's more likely to improve dramatically from last season
I can't wait to hear all the excuses Rich makes when the Chargers are crap again this year. Considering were talking about the 3rd most successful HC in the division with a QB who will only ever be a distant 2nd at best there seems to be a lot of optimism for LA on this show.
Grew up at the tail end of Cosell's career and there's a quote from him that would perfectly encapsulate how he'd feel about being turned into an AI voice. "How do you permit THIS to go on?!!"
The toughest question every on the " What's More Likely " shows , Howard Cosell, or John Madden !!! If I had to pick it would be Howard , but Madden is a legend as well !!!
I think rich was saying that ARSB has a higher hill to climb to blow out his last season than puka. Puka went crazy but that was in compared to rookies. No diss to him either. But ARSB was top 3 in alotta categories and so it's gonna take alot more to just completely crush his last season
Unless you lived in the 70's and heard Cosell, Dandy Don and Gifford. There was some classic stuff that went on live television back then. But I like Summerall and Madden a lot.
Tbf it's them predicting the season and I think St Browns breakout would have to far more above his normally stellar put put which is less realistic then a stud rookie doing better. Amon ra was top 3 in most stats so it's gotta be a lot harder to bounce up and be consider better improved than someone who's base line was a little lower. No diss to puka
I go Summerall and John Madden, that's like listening to the voice of the beast, right? Wow, didn't even know AI was going to be the 666 voice of the beast! We are that closer to redemption boys!
I'm going to say this, I am absolutely disgusted with the very idea of A.I. Al Michaels. It is a freaking terrible thing and if there is ever a broadcast with a full A.I. crew I'm not watching it. Seeing them act like it was a good thing is just... unsettling.
Bold prediction: OROY= Xavier worthy, OPOY= Hollywood Brown, DPOY= Chris Jones, DROY= Hicks, MVP&SB.MVP= Mahomes, Coach of the year= Andy Reid. Chiefs finish 20-0 3-peat.
Same lol 😅, I was mouthing off the line myself then I heard Chris say it. I said to myself, "tf??......ok Chris, I see u" lol. U got a lot of white people that are down tho .
Look as a lions fan i get we all wanna root for our boy #14 but i dont think alotta yall know what a "breakout" season entails. ARSB is already top 5 in alotta stats so him having a breakout isnt really realistic. When it comes to improvement from last season Puka has a better and more feasible shot at improving from last year than ARSB does. Even if ARSB performs overall better that means he had a better season but not a breakout. If he goes from 1500 yds to 1700 thats not as much a breakout as puka going from 1100 to 1600. Jamo is likely to have less yards than ARSB but have a "breakout" season by going from 600 to 1100 which means arsb also will likely not have as many targets and yards.
AI is a soulless, disgusting gimmick when trying to use dead people’s voices and likeness. In the end it’s up to the families but I would absolutely hate to hear a husk of John Madden in the booth. Hear an actual authentic, organic reaction as opposed to an algorithm.
For the AI thing I would pick Cosell because I'm too young to ever heard him while I did get to hear Madden during his Sunday Night Football run. If I'm going to partake in this unholy ritual it might as well be to sort of experience something I never got a chance to. But the AI thing concerns me a lot because I would hate it but likely not enough to stop watching the NFL. Football is the real draw and while I prefer it to have good commentators I have put up with lousy ones before. Inhuman robot commentators would upset me greatly but I would probably still grin and bear it to watch the game. It's frustrating because we can't vote with our wallet very well. We can't indicate that we hate the commentary but love the game. Either you continue to watch which the broadcasters can interpret as your approval of AI commentators or you can stop watching which they can interpret as disinterest in the game itself. There isn't a way to say "I like this and HATE that." Best bet is something like the Manningcast where if MNF's main feed had AI you could move exclusively to the Manningcast to voice your disapproval. But normally we won't get a choice between robot commentators and real ones.
Brockman is starting to be real obnoxious, he's constantly cutting off Rich or talking over him. Dude no one watches this show to hear your homer takes.
The Garett Wilson point made no sense. Be just had back to back 1000 seasons with Zach Wilson at quarterback. I don’t think he’s that much of a ball dependant player
I can see the Chargers winning 11-12 games in Harbaugh's first season. Harbaugh is not bankrupt, the Chargers will finish no worse than 2nd in the AFC West.
Stafford is the ONLY QB in NFL history to throw TWO separate WR's to leading the league in yards and he did it on TWO different teams. He broke several WR rookies records held by 3 different people all with ONE WR. Puka's opening day was the BEST opening day performance by a rookie...ever. Just let ALL of that simmer around in the head a bit.
As a Lions fan I can say that Stafford also made Kenny Golladay a Pro Bowler(and in turn alot of money) as well as Golden Tate. Now while Tate was solid with other teams unlike Golladay he never eclipsed more than 900 yards with any other QB meanwhile with Stafford he did it 3 times in 4 years including nearly 1400 one season.
@@mattthomas1442 Stafford isn't perfect, he has bad games, he has a few bad stats but so does Favre, Marino, Montana, Warren Moon and the list goes on and on BUT, it seems when it comes to Stafford, people are WAY over critical and go into full damnation mode, wiping away ALL his records and accomplishments as if someone else should be getting that credit. I live in Michigan, I watched Stafford for years so I got the full picture, the guy is a KILLER, a dog. We're seeing it now, public statements by Mahomes and Stroud that Stafford is the guy they watched, the guy they wanted to be like. I LOVED that he got a ring his FIRST year with the Rams, his no look pass on that last drive is fricken legend.
Damn right Puka Doncic gonna have a better year than St. Brown. Just like the wildcard but the Refs did them a solid so Detroit can have their 'Feel Good' Sports story. Funny how St Brown does a lot of slot/slant plays or isn't a deep threat receiver and no one got nothing to say, but when its Cooper Kupp, I never hear the end of it
St Brown did score a 70 yard TD against the Rams in the playoffs last year, but all you remember is to blame your loss on the refs, sad. St Brown does pose a deep threat, more so towards the end of the season. It isn't where he stands out though.
and sheesh, cry more about the Refs in a game that had balanced calls looking at the whole game. Its a bad look, especially against the Lions that have statistically the most biased reffing against them historically of any team in football.
@@claylarson3021 This isn't the Cowboys getting help from the refs. And you were repaid for that robbery Wild Card Game. We were robbed vs Steelers Baltimore and the Bengals. You should have been fighting us for the #1 seed. We'll get our payback opening Sunday night.
