I just love the vibe of this company so much. The openness, the enthusiasm, the continuous stream of useful new features... You guys rock. I'm so happy to have changed to Arc as my default browser.
Also quite happy to have changed to Arc, not only it's a great browser but as you said: the company culture and vibe is just amazing. I am just waiting to change to Arc on my iPhone and Windows as well.. :)
True its impressive to see how they communicate. Makes such a difference compared to other developers. I've noticed that Developers that communicate in a similar way to Arc tend to produce much better products though I'm sure it takes quite a bit more work.
Awesome. Amazing the clarity and purpose of collaboration in The Browser!! This is a game changer for me and a time saver. Instead o sharing tons of links, sharing a collaborative space is tops... THANKS! Keep it up! (By the way : If I need to pay for all this, it is ok.... Even a ONE TIME FEE looks good)
that skit was HILARIOUS, i started laughing out loud when the existential evil morty theme started playing... loving the vibes with arc and the company. keep it up!!
Arc is great but have a few suggestions: 1. Improve pdf view. Should be able to draw and write on pdfs, would be pretty cool if pdfs opened directly in an easel so you can draw and write on them like that. 2. Boosts should be available in arc mobile. And should be able to be integrated with focus modes, for example have boosts to block RU-vid when study focus is on. 3. Tabs should be able to be added in arc mobile, not just pinned. 4. Little arc for arc mobile. 5. Better customisation for gradient background. These changes would make the browser so much better for me, great work so far.
I am loving the latest version of the browser. Just a tiny feedback. I think the company has started deviating from its core user base. Because when you think of an average user, they don’t want to share spaces or folders. At least I never did, neither the folks I know. So these new features sounds like team did because they could, but was not needed. Unless the company is trying to build a browser for a workspace environment, then I am completely wrong.
I've sent some bug reports recently and hope that they will get fixed soon! When this happens I will be the happiest person on Earth (if the devs really read those bug reports)
That's really great ! Quick suggestion about notes automatically in Notion -> Could you make it possible to create a new page in a specific database ? That would be really great to organize our notion spaces quickly ! Thanks a lot ;)
im excited for the windows version as its not available for it but yeah! this company knows how to advertise, i looked at my self and was like "wait why am i watching an advertisement?" and then i realized "oh right, its the browser company"
I sincerely hope you are working on porting to other operating system platforms such as Windows, Linux / *BSD, iOS, Android. I don't think you should release it immediately and I am going to tell you why. You should perfect Arc and keep adding these amazing features. Then you should release it for Windows and Linux (Arc would be amazing on a tiling window manager). At that point, Google and Microsoft would experience their first real competition in decades. That will then spark innovation as they race to catch up with Arc. Which is good for everyone. However, be prepared because they have immense resources and if you become a real threat, they are going to come at you hard. Right now Google has been lazy and content as they are the leader. Microsoft is doing some of what Arc is doing but nowhere near the same innovation. For example, Edge added splits but it's horribly implemented while Arc's implementation is great. Edge has vertical tabs but again nowhere near the magical user experience that Arc provides. So keep up the good work. The future of Arc is bright indeed.
I like the sharing feature in itself, but I’m very critical of the philosophy that you spill about it afterwards. You say it in a nicer way, but for me, what this insinuates and leads to is that you guys are ultimately gonna try to make the browser into a social media platform. (And, considering you don’t have a business model yet, it’s very much possible you pivot to the standard business model of social media, which is monetizing user data). In that regard, I definitely do NOT want my browser to be "alive". So, please tell me I’m wrong?
I love using Arc on a daily basis, thank you! However, since the last update (1.15.1 on MAC), Arc is completely buggy. The Add-ons don't work anymore (they don't appear). Quite a few websites no longer work properly (after checking with other browsers, it does not come from the websites). Hopefully, a quick upcoming update will fix the problem because I use ARC for work. Have a great day. Morgan
Could the links open up in Arc like they do in non-Arc browsers? With an option to create a folder/space? I can sometimes I just want to temporarily view a folder without having to create one (and delete it later) :D
"I know what you were thinking" What I was thinking was, "What is that cool music?" I'm already all-in on Arc. I still use Safari for one thing only, Wordle, because I don't want to lose my progress. Can cookies be copied over? :)
The competitors can copy all the features they want from arc but they will never be able to copy your creativity, passion and the ability to take risks and think out of the box. You're changing the web as we know it and I'm all for it.
I love seeing the browser grow so much it's such a unique and cool experience! Im using Arc since July so im not an OG but you know, it's still pretty cool and I love using Arc, there is no better browser for me personally. (Still waiting for Folder Icons though)
Arc to me is more and more becoming a sort of subsidiary operating system rather than a browser. I've actually stopped using native apps for Mail, Music, Slack, Spotify, Radio Garden and some others, and brought them all inside Arc where I can get directly to the one I want with a single keyboard shortcut (or two) rather than cmd-tabbing until I find the right icon. And getting back to where I was is another simple shortcut away. Result is I have fewer applications open so the ones I do need to keep native aren't swamped in the cmd-tab overlay. I can still access music controls and slack notifications and the like still work.
Not sure I could love Arc any more. Never going back. The innovation, the human-led aspect, the cheesy fun you have in the videos, the way you shout out members who worked on projects, the dial-up tone in the outro... Can't get enough!
Thank you so much for caring about Koreans! 🇰🇷 In my school, all of my friends are transitioning to ARC and this update resolved the only problem they experienced! It such a great thing to see a product that actually communicates with people-not predict what they want.
Are you looking at allowing spaces to be truly collaborative? Ie anyone in the space can add tabs/folders etc? That would be truly killer. Also this may just be what gets me to switch from Obsidian to Notion for work.
The surge from South Korea may be because a RU-vidr, Nomad Coders, introduced the Arc browser. I also watched their video and installed the Arc browser and liked it. 노마드 코더 영상보고 아크 브라우저 알게된 한국 분들 좋아요 눌러보세요! ㅎ
I'm a huge consumer of RU-vid, but I don't want to read patch notes in this form. I miss the old patch notes page that I could scan in less than a minute.
Wow, I couldn't agree more! This software is on another level. It's so refreshing to see developers who understand the importance of human connection in technology. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for making the web more than just a sterile experience! 🚀💯
Thanks for the great works! There is still bug that a last korean letter(like ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㅏ,ㅣ) is removed when i type korean on 'New Tab (cmd + T)' or 'Command Bar (cmd + L)'. For example, when i search '한국' on Google Search Engine from command bar, then '한구'(removed last 'ㄱ') was searched. (Before this update, last word removed) I hope this issue to be solved soon! Thank you!
For Windows, I'm happy with Edge. Yeah, I know it's Microsoft, but it really is pretty good. I would try Arc on Linux though. It seems innovative and well put together. Gotta give these guys credit. It looks like a pretty good product.
I see you all love your compact single column sidebar on your iMessage windows. But when it comes to your browser, noooo, stick to butt ugly two column view because "great" UX.
y know. i never thought i'd watch a video from a browser company and think, "that's so fucking cool." and yet here we are. update after update is like this.
the fact I'm here during what are clearly the early days of a long successful company, when the community is tight-knit and collaborative and all new updates are an event to tune into - I'm lucky
I want to work for you guys! I live in the UK just south of London. Worse still is that I don’t even know how I can be of any use. Besides being insanely creative, ambitious, passionate, a total geeky nerd and 100% in love with ARC I have been a firefighter for the last 24 years. So, while I am an IT jack of all trades and master of none, I am keen and willing to learn. I also think outside the box, you could argue I am not aware of the box. In any case, I love ARC, your ethos, and your approach to your business and how you market what is the best thing that has ever happened to the internet. All the best and good luck!

AMAZING job to the team on all the sharing functionality. Crazy the amount of innovation that can come from such an ambitious vision. People at Chrome really are going to be looking at all this with their jaws dropped. Keep it going and really excited to see what’s to come with Arc!
I remember seeing them talk about multiplayer browser & never really thought how that would work. I’m really impressed with just how clean this implementation is
