Hi, my name is Lily. Let me share the latest secure transport features and improvements with you. This month, we updated several third-party components that were reported in the National Vulnerability Database, including jQuery and PostgreSQL. Refer to our third-party software and licenses document for the complete list.
As of this release, Secure Transport can receive PID messages, also known as PID datagram transfers, corresponding to Pi 91 that are coming from a PID partner. In order to receive PID messages, both a PESet transfer site and a transfer profile must be set up. A new group of parameters is now available when configuring a transfer profile with Advanced Properties.
Receiving message parameters: You can choose between two options - receive PID messages without triggering further processing or use the arrival of a PID message to trigger an advanced routing flow. PID messages are not stored as physical files on the file system; however, they are visible on the file tracking page and their content is displayed in the status details box.
For more details and configuration instructions, refer to the PID message transfer section in the Administrator Guide. There is a significant improvement in the inbound transfer performance when the SCFS hash on upload server configuration option is enabled. It is useful to activate this option when you're expecting to receive large files from partners.
