What’s New in FreeCAD - Offset in Sketcher 

Honestly don't follow much of what's new in the FEM workbench. As for the assembly workbench, I plan to make a video as soon as I have free time

​​@@Krzys_D You can draw anything in FreeCAD that you draw on SolidWorks or Inventor. The advantage of FreeCad is that you can couple it with IA very easily. Besides that you can write your own tools on Python and you have all the Python libraries at your disposal.

No I don't think so, it works on Linux, Windows and Mac OS, well or on an emulator

Yes it is and it does full fem and cfd simulations. Ondsel engineering suite is the best version of freecad in my opinion. My chanel has a few videos on cfd
