These videos could be much better by: A one-liner on what the JEPs are Showing examples Showing code representing them Talking more slowly and deliberatly
Thanks for the update. I would suggest to show code examples in video like in git diff when showing new Java features in listings instead of showing initial code and then updated code. Because it's hard to follow what's changed.
I have posted the new features in Java 22 with working code examples here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Okju64YVFs0.htmlsi=_mxhuCJfnNTL5XOC
too much freedom in a world driven by TikTok. powerful language, but people be acting crazy with it love C#, but this is the world we live in. sometimes its best to have a more restrictive environment
@@nipafx I appreciate that you take the time to do this type of video. Maybe my suggestion is to to focus on less topics in 2 minutes? This way, it might ease understanding.
So not "Java 22 in 2 minutes" but "A random subset of Java 22 in 2 minutes"? Look, this video is not meant to *explain* everything Java 22 brings. It is meant to give you a quick overview, so you have the full list and can then decide what topics to follow up on, for which we have a bunch of videos of varying depths and lengths. PS: That's not me in the video.
It is probably the worst "What's New" video on RU-vid ever. If you are not directly involved into JDK development but just curious about the new features in the last release, you have almost no chance to get any useful info from this video other then by accident. It sounds just like a statement in a daily standup 'hey, just closed issue 123, going to look into 456' 🤦♂😆
You've got the worst background I ever seen on YT. That's not detrimental to the explanation but still not visually pleasing at all (well that's a visual media after all).
