For quite some months I have been praying for the people of Gaza… all these mothers who did not stop their sons…to become terrorists…and now their sons in thousands… are dead…. May Gods spirit of repentance and redemption work on these wounded hearts… May God give loving Christians (I’m too old 😅 but I can pray) to preach the good news of Gods love…and forgiveness! God bless Israel and deliver her from all her enemies…but may the saving grace of Christ the Lord… visite the Muslim countries around Israel!

I have a CAPD, a brain disorder that makes it impossible to filter out the music when I tried listening to the latter part of this message. The music is nice but a frustrating distraction so I truly hope in future the volume of the music could be turned down or eliminated altogether which would be even better for me. I do enjoy listening to Joel’s messages and hope my comment is received as constructive criticism.

Question: does God love the Jews because he looked at them and thought “wow I pick them. They’re my favorites”. No one is saying that. The Bible says he picked them because of the faith of the patriarchs. And he chose them to send Messiah and make mercy and salvation known to the whole world. Since his plan involves Israel, his discipline and preservation rest upon it. Today his presence can be felt in the land, and his hand can be seen in Israel. 3:01 That’s why “whoever blesses Israel will be blessed and whoever curses Israel will be cursed.” Israel is God‘s gateway to all the nations. Through them, he offered salvation to you, to all the world.

Now what if your neighbors hated you for it saying “what, you think God loves your child, but my son died? What about all the other children with worse diseases, or poor kids, and foreign kids…” This argument is a logical fallacy, unless God has a finite amount of healing in his power. Bc the implication is that he wastes his mercy and time on some. He chose the Jews to demonstrate himself, not because of their race, but because of the faith of the patriarchs. The faith! And he did this to accentuate that his favor responds to faith.
Thirdly: God clearly makes it known that he wants heaven for everyone. He’s trying to lead us there. He has given his son to die for this. He has given us more time, and grace than anyone deserves. If you are not digging in to find out with that plan is - if you’re satisfied with effortless human understanding - if you are more interested in your own “wisdom” then in finding the one who IS WISDOM- you will miss the great salvation that has been laid out for everyone. But when you seek with your whole heart, actually read the book, study it! When you ask God to show you his ways, admitting that his ways are higher than yours - his thoughts are higher than your thoughts … he will give you eternal life, and a new birth that prepares you for it. This has been his plan from the beginning. Israel is a huge part of that plan but it’s for every person. That’s not racist.

I think Zachariah 9 is talking about the 2nd temple period. The prophesy was fulfilled and since they rejected Christ were punished again. Has nothing to do with current Israel.
That’s called replacement theology or Greek thinking… Most prophecies had a fulfillment relative to the time they were written and a future fulfillment. Hebraic thinking is circular. Greek is linear. The Bible is written from a Hebraic mindset. What happened will happen again. For example, The Bible begins in a garden and ends in a new garden. God is clearly moving to fulfill scriptures and many of those prophecies had previously been fulfilled.
Agreed. That is how prophesy works. Zechariah reveals God's plan for Israel and the nations surrounding her. He also announces the advent of the Messiah, the future king, who will bring peace to the world. So we can definitely say this is going to happen. This is how we see the mysteries of the bible coming true. They are hidden messages for us today. It excites me. We have to be open and lay all our preconceived thoughts and what others have taught us aside and seek the truth the Spirit of God has woven through the scriptures for us today. I love it and get excited to see today in the scriptures. I’m saddened that some Christians hold on to the teaching Israel rejected Jesus so are punished. Yes we have all disobeyed and deserve punishment yet through our Messiah we are brought into a new relationship with the Father through Yeshua. I’m a Jewish believer and got brought up in the church. It was so plain to see that we were in the time of the gentiles and that Israel’s eyes were partially blinded to the truth unto the time of the gentiles is finished then it’s our time the time of the Jewish people. It’s coming and soon. How do Christians expect the Jews to come to Yeshua if they continually tell them that they killed Jesus and that they have to join the church . Even at 14 it never sat well with me that I have to give up being Jewish. I love that I am Jewish. I love the Feast of the Lord. I asked many churches if they wanted to teach the Jewishness of Jesus and share the power of the 7 feasts and how they represent Jewish roots and offer an eye to the future as well as the past. The scriptures are full of Jewish heritage that they understand. New and Old Testament shows Jesus and His coming. We just need to share love not judgement. Those that bless Israel with love will be blessed and those that curse Israel condemn israel will be cursed. Israel’s time is coming. We should pray for our brothers and sisters to come to their Messiah. Many of them think Jesus is the Catholics God. The Catholics stole all of the Jewish believers and turned them into their saints. The Jews have no idea He is their Messiah because the church didn’t embrace the Jews but shunned them. The only way to have love for the Jews is through Jesus. Through the scriptures the church leaves out. It’s all there. When you seek me you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart. Muslims and Jews are coming the knowledge of Jesus. It is a miraculous moment in time. I heard about Jesus at 14. I was drawn to Him because He was Jewish. But I didn’t know how to make a connection with Him until 28 when He came to me in a dream. I’ve never looked back since. I knew exactly who He was and He met me where I was and took me in His arms and I wept. We talk about His love wow I felt it that day and it was indescribable and it filled every part of me. I remember it like it was yesterday. Powerful moving and life changing earth shattering. I’ve heard He is doing this with the Muslims and the Jews today. We are living in biblical times and the King of Kings is setting the stage in Israel which we can follow through His word and by the Lord’s feasts we will know the season of His coming once all the prophesies domino one after the other and there He will be and the Jews will call out. Talking about the Ezekiel 38 war and Jesus returning for His people and the fight Israel’s enemies. God will never forget His people that He made a covenant with. Many will die at the hands of the enemies Russia Turkey and Iran that breaks my heart but that’s why I pray for my brothers and sisters I don’t yet know because I love them just as Jesus does. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem because only Yeshua Hamashiach can bring that peace. I live for this day with all my heart. The world has always hated the Jews why? Because God loves them. The enemy wants to be God set himself up as God and thinks if he gets the world to hate the Jews they will be destroyed. But God said that as long as the Sun moon and the stars are in the heavens so will my people live.
