Do more with the mk2 and don't get discouraged. Get to as many Volkswagen enthusiast events you can and people in the scene will find you. Look at a few other people that have been featured on shopDAP's channel. Maybe learn how to do paint and body on the mk2. I feel your RU-vid journey is far from over. Good luck

Yeah I’ve been looking at going to loe, the mk2 probably won’t go but it’d still be good to meet everybody. I was gonna paint it but we’re going a different direction that I’ll reveal later, gotta keep it a secret haha, thank you!

Dude, you inspired me to do my own 07k project on my 2012 jetta. You can do body work/paint and interior upgrades that don't break the bank. Love your car. Keep the channel going.

I like what you are doing on here. It is hard to get traction on youtube, but just keep at it and the views/subs will come. And it's never too late to start putting your content out on other platforms. Just take the stuff you have and post it across everything.

I tell you whats next, you drive to my house help me mix my clutch, and we go on a road trip to germany, with a trip starting in chicago up the alcan highway across the berring st8 (we smuggle ourselves to russia) somehow, but just start driveing west, to germany, and final destination is the nurburg ring.

Bro, I've just watched 3 of your videos and it was pretty much you talking to the camera. Look, either you do a podcast or put your head down and start building. Build anything ppl will watch, but you have to build something rather than just rambling on about what to do. Yes, you are new, we get it. This is why ppl are here. You have our attention work with it, and your channel will grow organically.

Man I know it sucks. The mk2 is pretty much done but I’m waiting on something to be finished up for it. I can’t really build something that I don’t have so I have to be patient and wait. Trust me I hated making the Yap sesh videos and I wasn’t gonna post them but I figured I would anyhow. Next video should hopefully be going to pick up a new engine. I’m sorry for making you endure the yapping 😂

Just slow down so the pace is sustainable for yourself personally and financially. Recut old footage from IG and make some new RU-vid videos. It’ll happen, maybe just slower than ideal. Do a video from a meet like the gathering in Helen - maybe videos that are adjacent to what you’re doing but don’t cost you anything other than editing time? Do an interview with someone local in the community. Try things, see what sticks? People also seem to have some success with Patreon.
