Echoing what everyone else has said, this is probably one of the best videos on the Apple Watch I've ever seen where it REALLY talks about the benefits of having a watch. Personally, I like it because it combines the obvious benefit of a watch (and I believe every adult should have one really excellent quality watch that won't break on you) with the basic utilitarian needs of a phone. Being able to get notifications without having to check my phone constantly is a total blessing. And my favorite thing about the watch is the Fitness app. I don't know what it is about my archaic competitive lizard brain, but I just LOVE closing those little rings every day! It really motivates me to, as you said, incorporate healthy movement into my day without it necessarily having to be a full workout. All movement is healthy!
I’ve been considering getting the Apple Watch SE for WEEKS...it def feels like months. Introducing new tech in your life, especially not cheap ones, really is an important decision for me...and this is the FIRST video I’ve watched (and I’ve been watching tons) that actually speaks to every one of my concerns and made me feel good about getting the se ! I think u vibe with every single one my priorities in life? It’s wild. and for that you get a very easy sub!
@@isabellerose206 no joke, I'm also deciding between an ipad or an apple watch. The appeal of a simpler decluttered device on the wrist is very cool and i get to reduce my screen time, but most tasks i personally have can be done on the phone or even just my lock screen. The thought of being able to draw and have a bigger canvas is appealing, but lacks the power that a macbook has (and considering 70% of my screen time is literally on my macbook right now). Like, I am still conflicted.
I was considering getting an SE but then I came across the Series 7, I got the 41mm green aluminium case with the clover sport band and LTE for the same price as an SE
I hope it works for you and you’ll be able to manage your ADHD! I too have ADHD and currently am waiting for Black Friday sales to get my Apple Watch 😂 how are you finding it?
@@Ozpu I really like it! Little shots of dopamine every time you complete a task haha and I got the "I am" app to have affirmations on my watch face. It's nice to have alarms on my wrist and not reach for my phone as much, too.
I bought my apple watch 3 months ago and I barely use it so far, but after watching this I finally feel like I can use it properly. Good video. Thanks!
Loved this video you made a lot of valid points I’m getting to distracted by my phone all day night I get a sore neck looking down & also my eyes I want to be more active lose weight spend more time with my son while he’s small also love the watch faces so I can put pics of my family on my watch & my phone
I added your video to my watch later and then the preview started playing and let me tell you the QUALITEA 💫 I had to keep watching because wow. Your camera is goals 😂👏🏻
1:29 My watch lasts me the whole day to be honest. Once I wake up, I charge the watch and do my morning routine. Once I get home after work, I (if the battery is low) I charge it.
Omg you’re explaining everything in a really comforting and easy way i liked watching that it’s really helpful, I’m also thinking of getting an SE Apple Watch but the second generation
Hey really weird sounding but what me and my brother found is we put the charger on the bathroom vanity, we put it on when we shower or wash dishes and it’s enough to last the day (I have 4 and he has 3)
That's super useful. Just wanna now how to do the stufcf you did with the notes? I mean, the complication where you can add something directly to your inbox? Thank you so much, that video was suuuper useful (btw I have ADHD, so even more). Thanks
You know how people buy luxury watches just to tell time, as status of their wealth and also an investment, well think of an Apple Watch as a luxury watch that’s does lots of things a regular luxury watch can’t including things really helpful like keep tracking of steps calories burned, paying on the go without needing your cards all the time, notifications for important things you need to be reminded of emergency calls so if I want a luxury watch I prefer the Apple Watch for the many other things it can do other than just being a watch and it’s also an investment with pretty good resale value
Hi can you please upload a video on how to create the “ log water” short cut. I hope you see this 🥺 I’ve seen a couple of videos but they’re not too clear. thanks in advance!
I got my Apple Watch series 6 last week. It lasts me about 2 days without charging. Maybe look into your settings. Maybe something is running in the background what you don’t need.
Turn off background app refresh - that took so much battery and my watch lasts way longer after turning it off. Also get a case for it! You can buy clear screen protector cases
I was attached to my Apple Watch because in ways it help me with a lot of things like being motivated n wanting to be active but my Apple Watch screen cracked but I am getting a new one
I have one Question: i got the same time tracking app like you do, now then right?! (saw it in one of your videos) but it‘s not possible to install or use it on my apple watch se.. how did you manage that?
i have an iphone 6s with ios 10.3.3 and i want to buy an apple watch - maybe series 3; my question is, is it compatible/pairable with my phone, isn't the latter too old?
Please can you comment what apps you use for your "work mode" watch face. I think it is an amazing idea and would love to do it myself. Also, what do you use the timer for?
@@alinapolat7336 it’s a handy thing but I think until it’s optimized for when all devices are within range that only certain devices will ring, it will be spot on. Especially with the new chips that help identify precisely where devices are
Wonderful explanation of how something that looks distracting and wasteful can be used to actually reduce phone addiction and detatch yourself! Also super smart move programming all the shortcuts so you don't have to search around for anything 💫🥰 .. and your Billie Eilish hair is beautiful 😅
Great review. Love the point about taking you away from the phone and its distractions . I can completely relate to this. The advice about notifications is very important in all of this.
Thank you for this! I just ordered my first Apple Watch and I’m at a loss to customize it and maximize its productivity based on my needs. Also I did not expect to encounter a fellow ARMY, that was so random but I love it 😂 when I saw the Cooky cushion, I knew I could trust you 💜
So crazy, I actually ordered mine in the beginning of November after seeing one of your videos where you use your watch. my watch came on the 5th and this video has absolutely perfect timing for me because I still have the feeling that I haven't figured out my watch. Thank you for the quality content as always!!!
I’ve waffled about getting one for eons. I thought I was set on “no”. Then you made the point about being able to have just your necessities so you can stay off of your phone more. Now I’m waffling again LOL Great video!
Ok. So. I took the plunge! I just ordered the SE (1st gen) with cellular. For some odd reason. The cellular was the same sale price as the GPS model. 🤷🏼♀️ I haven’t decided if I’ll actually pay $10/mo to use it or not. They work just fine if you don’t. But having the option is great. & higher resell value when that time comes. In the 2 years 😮 since my original comment. I am now 100% permanently off ALL social media, with the exception of RU-vid (obviously. I don’t make content though). And Pinterest. Photos backed up to the Cloud & accounts permanently deleted. My mental health & mental clarity have improved to the point this random girl I went to church with back when I was kid randomly bumped into me at Walmart & asked what I had done to be so much happier. 😳 I have also gotten an iPad to start homeschooling myself, for lack of better words, starting late fall, so I can have a good paying job that works around my multiple chronic health issues. All of my distractions are on my iPad , ironically. But I don’t just walk around with my iPad like I can my iPhone. And I have Focus set up. Once I get my MacBook for school, That will be my main device for school anyways. My iPhone has been significantly stripped down, as well. That’s still a work in progress. What finally pushed me over was partly said health issues that need closer monitoring. Yay, POTS! 😂 And my fierce desire to be able to have access to core apps without the inevitable plop for doom scrolling. Everything I need. Nothing I don’t. Health tracking, water tracking, Reminders, text/call alerts, iMessage, weather, clock/alarms/timers, mostly. This video is truly what started the gears turning & got the ball rolling on my journey of simplicity. Which is why I came back here today. To rewatch this video. I would like to add. Before anyone rolls their eyes & thinks I’m rich. I’m truly not. My husband & I work VERY VERY hard for everything we have. I also wait & wait some more. Wait for a sale, shop refurbs, penny pinch, do odd jobs as I’m able, & save up. It’s not unreasonably expensive if you’re willing to not have THE newest model of things. Still a great video. Try simplicity. It’s a beautiful way to live. 🤍
It has been many years against an Apple Watch, I opted for Fitbit instead. I thought iWatch was an expensive gimmick on a tiny screen w/ features my phone already provided and worst of all, it will stop working or stop being supported and money down the drain like all wearable trackers. This year, my Fitbit died again, same as my last 2 and contemplated not buying another watch altogether, saw the cellular option SE1 at $209 on a Black Friday sale, a price worth trying and I love it. Had I seen this video then, I would not have hesitated and bought it on the spot. Thanks Bliss Bean, the iWatch is definitely worth it.
I'm not sure I'd get an Apple Watch, but I love seeing how you use it as a way to step away from your phone. It's great to see you experimenting with what works best for you, and that inspires me to live my life more intentionally, too!
Oh my god i just watching the apple watch vids as i want to get one and your vids pop up! And i hope more content of apple watch ft productivity from you in the future as i love all your videos!!
