@@parmdeeppuri2981 that’s true but, I don’t consider them to be in the same categories. Whites are more of casual/work boot, Grant Stones are more of a dress/metrosexual boot. That’s why I never wear them!

Out of all the boots I own (Redwing, Thorogood, Parkhurst, Truman, White's, Grant Stone, Bordon, Thursday, and Wolverine).....my White's Perry Hybrid are the least well constructed. It's a solid boot for sure. The leather is great and it's quite comfortable once broken in. On the first pair, the welt stitching was completely haphazard. They exchanged them for me no problem. The second pair was better but the sole started separating within the first month which I easily fixed myself with shoo goo. The quarters also weren't assembled evenly (left side is 1/2" behind the right side) which causes the eyelets to be misaligned and the laces to go diagonal. At first I thought it was a defective pair, but after reading many reviews on their boots it seems this is normal and what's to be expected. It just looks like it was assembled in a hurry.

What size are you in red wings and grand stone? Do grand stone run bigger then red wings?

Well, as I said Sir, The video wasn’t about The best (Moc toe) Simply because to me, it could be this or that everyone has different opinions, and experiences with their boots. As for the life of the boots It depends on what the person uses them for, I couldn’t tell I have costumers that destroy their boots in 5 months. In my case they’ll last for the rest of my life. BTW I’m considering those Springdale, I’ll be working on a pair of those in a few weeks They are nice!!! Cheers!

Gotcha! My all time favorite is the redwing 877 and work style 10877, I tend to wear the work style more due to them being more water resistant for some reason, possible slightly different construction? Idk. I do like the Nick’s though, never tried whites yet but to each his own.

@@NickyB0718 The differences I’ve seen on 10877s are the color of the leather , logo and eyelets but I wouldn’t say they’re built different. I have about 10 pairs of RW Moc toe my favorite pair is the 8883 but the most comfortable pair it’s my White’s Perry (select) As for my everyday pair I wear soft boots that feel more like sneakers. BTW I only wear my boots for Sunday church ⛪️😅 Cheers !!

Haha! Classic. Yes idk, I wear mine every day to work, rotate them that is, I do electric linework, I wear Hoffman powerlines for pole climbing, anyway I can say that redwing work oriented boots are definitely more water resistant than the heritage line, like I’m not expecting waterproof but the 10877 and 953 both unlined leather redwing work boots and almost not water gets in, the 875 and 877 heritage ones definitely let the water in! Lol, the iron rangers are the same way, but of course they’re not meant for water resistance, I wear unlined boots typically cuz over the years I’ve found anything with a liner to eventually start stinking! Lol have a good one!
