Hei, thanks for the review, as a hint I'd like to say, since I have seen it as well in many other scale reviews: Your calibration weight set came with plastic tweezers, since in the mg-range sweat and repeated touching can tamper with the weight itself. So my comment here is, you should touch any calibration weight with either plastic tweezers or at least with cotton gloves. Regards from Finland Jens
The link for the Ranger is a .01 accurate and is 22.00. This is also sold as a Fuzion Digital for only 16.99. The one in your video says .001 right on it. The ones on Amazon now are only .01 just fyi
Pretty good these are staying consistent 0⁴⁶³g with the same tiny nugget aside that cheaper scale where it can't decide, so I can see why you less care for that one. Worth another $10 to get something of better quality. You about got me sold on that Inferno one w/ the easy portability of it. Stuff like this is handy to check wgt of a silver or assumed silver coin, and telling those 1982 Cu or Zn pennies apart. I have a cheap Harbor Freight ¹⁄₁₀g accuracy one, but it is kind of finicky even at that resolution, so looking to find something better for finer weights. Old video now, but thanks for sharing the info! Since you still link these scales in your new vids, I gather you're still quite happy with the results they give.
Thank you! Yeah I still used these scales now, but I’m always leaning towards the US-Ranger version the orange one that uses the 0.000 scale! It’s my favorite Thank you so much for watching and commenting
The weighmax Diamond jewrly scale is accurate it kust has a small scaling surface but i like it. I only paid 10 bucks over at a local convenient smoke shop too!!
I'd think replaceable rechargeable batteries would be the best, so no internal non-removable battery that eventually dies will make the device useless.
Fantastic video thank you so much. I recently bought a scale for about $11. I need to weigh my pellets and slugs for my pellet gun for accuracy. The scale that I got, depending where I put the pellet on the try weighed different amounts. also, if I took the pallet off, waited a few seconds put the pallet on it would weigh a different amount. What scale would you suggest for pellets that do not weigh very much for deadly accuracy. Thanks again for the great video.
Your decimal places are wrong you keep on saying 0.001g is hundredths, the correct reading is 0.001g is thousandths. It don't matter if it's weight, height, or length. It's the symbol or word that defines what is being measured. .o is tenths .oo is hundredths .ooo thousandths and so on.
Can someone explain what is counting in pcs on a scale for? don't I know the quantity of the items I'm holding or what? why do I need a scale or the counting function to count what I can see? I don't get it. And lastly, how do I go back to the regular weighing mode after playing around with the pcs function?
Great video. I just bought a scale to measure out workout supplements. The scale I bought was a flimsy piece or crap. Wouldn't even register when I tried to weigh 100 mg. Only paid about $13 though. Live & learn I guess. I'm eyeing that US Inferno though. Shoulda watched this first.
@@GoldenpaydirtReviews so I bought one of your US balance, inferno scales (the orange one) and I can't get it to calibrate. I think I'm gonna have to send it back to Amazon. It also sometimes gives me some error message when I start it up. Any ideas of what I should try? Or recommendations for sellers?
@@GoldenpaydirtReviews I mix those two up :D I guess in movies they way over play it when it comes to Brooklyn accent, but in reality Vermont sounds very similar. Well at least for foreign ear :D
@@youngwong2583 flowers?? Old comment not sure what you're talking about. Flower gold? Yes i melted all my flower gold down in to 5- 10 gram bars and tested then stamped them to get the most money when i sell. Always pour into a square so jewellers have 4 points to test kt
Very explicit reviews, I loved it. I wanted to ask, I am considering the Kubei and the Weightman. However, when i click on the link provided, for the weightman, it leads me to a different model. The actuating buttons are outside. I wonder if it is a new model? As I continued searching for your exact one, I came across it but under the name "Ultra-Precision". And so I wonder what you think? I am more for the weightman/Ultra model because of its large orange display. I hope you do reply.
@@GoldenpaydirtReviews Oh wow, you answered just in the nick of time, I had the Weighman in the cart about to pay..lol. Thx. I'll remove it and choose the Kubei.
The weight man after a year doesn’t read normal just now worth it, the leveling legs are flimsy, just failed me after 12 months! All the others, are still lasting and my choice for the best fictional work every penny model, is the ranger the thumbnail one! I use that 24-7
I have the U.S RANGER. I like it a lot. It would even better if it had the extra hundredth of a tenth to get the true weight of a nugget. "0.463g" Thanks for the helpful review Martin.🇺🇸⛏
Which of these do you recommend the most and why? I also want to know how accurate it is, can some of them even precisely measure things less than 0.003 g? if not what if you have something which is 5mg, then because its heavier so would that make the measurement of that more precise? Also what if you don't use the tare function? I heard this way you will always get better measurement for anything below 5mg! Is this true? can you at least get precise measurements using these scales this way? But I have also heard that Gem or GEMINI-20 scales are the best mg scales on the market is that true? even better than these? Can you even buy very precise scale (I don't care if it can only measure up to 10g or even 5g as long as if it is more accurate! between £20- £70 of course!
Hi Martin thanks for the info on the scales i picked myself up a kubei a few weeks back and i was going to get a weightman & us-Inferno today from Amazon but i couldn't find eather one for some reason i even tried typing out the names but no luck
Hi all! Would I be OK with a budget 20 dollar .001 scale from Amazon, any brand in mind or are they fairly the same in that budget range? Thanks in advance!! Sincerely
Excellent video even now 2023, I bought the kubei(only one available on amazon UK from your listing) ,took it out the box and connected to a big belkin power bank using the white cable provided in the box...little battery icon started to flash signalising that is charging and showing little power on the left corner inside battery icon. After 90min of charging icon remains the same ,still flashing, still looking empty instead of gradually filling up...eventually power bank switched off and I assumed that cube finished charging and is ready to be used.Folllowing along with your video tried to calibrated and off it went, looking like its not charged.Turned it back on again, same story.Any idea why the battery is not charging? Please help when you have a minute.Kind regards
Try plugging it into a normal socket and see if it charges then. Maybe the powerbank doesn't give enough juice.. If it doesn't charge in the normal power net, i'd contact the seller, or company.
@@youngwong2583 are u talking about weed??? U have posted this same dumb comment multiple times, and if u need someone to tell you the answer to that then you probably shouldn't be smoking weed anyway...
Great review Martin. Thanks a bunch. If I ever need to purchase a good scale I’ll know what to get now. I’m currently using a small cheap Target scale that goes down to the hundredths, and it is pretty accurate. So once again thanks and take care.
You so totally sold the Weightman, but the current model no longer has the balance bubble or the big display. So also totally unsold the Homegeek. It did not compare well, visually.
interesting, im seeing a lot of poket scales with a calibrating weight but no cal-ibrating button or option. is that a mistake on manufakturing or do these scales have some build in calibration?
