What’s the difference between 5x5, & 13x6 lace?

I don’t understand why the wig is only 5x5 or lace only part of wig. Wouldn’t it be most beneficial to make it look most real to have the lace throughout the whole head does that exist? In your opinion when you say a 13x4 and 13x6 wig need some type of adhesive can the wig be sewn on to make it look natural for the adhesive?
