@@Vinoisthenameyeah there is when daddy pays for everything and you don’t earn it yourself you just don’t appreciate it the same way. Facts. Not saying this kid had his parents help him just saying in general
@@ohhjay4724 I don’t know his exact situation. However, Perhaps he had help from his parents or he inherited some money from his grandparents/someone or had a heck of a lemonade stand/paper route :) . Those are the cards he was dealt. Still it’s not like he is a heir to some blue chip company and doesn’t want to work. The kid is a grafter and sold a supra so he could shuttle his smaller siblings around. Most 19 year olds don’t know what they want or who they want to be and are way more selfish.
@@chrisb7161 I know what you mean. I know a young man that turned 24 and his grandfather bought him a brand new A45 Mercedes. All the office just looked at him like some Lucky guy but he was actually a good person so fair play to him.
@@hre5183 bro the s58 is literally the better version of the B58, from FACTORY, TUNED AS WELL. If you are happy with a slow car(you can't even beat a G80 with a dp tune if it is stock(dp tune + e20 is only 9s 60-130) then that is fine. The looks are nice on a m340i(I know you have an LCI because you specified), but M3's look way better. Kidney grilles look nice irl. The interior is also WAAAY better. How is the M340I more reliable? Are you stupid? The M3 is LITERALLY made to be better and more reliable. Also about price, if you broke, just say dat, like actually. Overall, I love the M340I, it is an incredible car, but you can't say it is better than a car that is MORE EXPENSIVE, from the SAME MANUFACTURER, based off the same engine but LITERALLY DESIGNED TO BE BETTER.
Love the build! Hoping to get a m340i myself soon. Insane that in the US with registration it's around 70k, and here in Belgium 100k+ for the exact same car.
you need the entire rear axle exhaust section. which is one middle muffler box w two baby mufflers on either side of it. the only one i see on ebay is $1000. and the full uncut f90 exhaust is 1600. not sure if its worth that 1000 price just for that muffler but if it gives an agressive sound w no drone then its worth it. would just need to test the drone vs a straight pipe. bc straight pipe is always the most economic option LOL.
Great video! Gives me a lot of ideas for my m340. I would love to know the exact wheel and tire specs for that staggered set up! Would really appreciate it. Looks 🔥 also what’s he lowered on?
Awesome! Thank you 👊🏻 We’ll get the exact specs and post them here shortly. He’s lowered on Swift Spec-R springs which are our recommended spring upgrade 👌🏻
F90 muffler on our m340s is crazy! Had a muffler delete and have been happy with it, but man that exhaust sounds good. Def need more exhaust clips, fly by, pov clips
Please more info on this exhaust set up. It’s the one thing I absolutely hate on my ‘22. I currently have an opportunity to buy a F90 M5 comp exhaust, would grab it in a second if I was sure I could get it to work. Could you possibly walk us through the process. Love the deeper sound.
@@EatingBarkWithMarc i got a 21, and tbh just do a muffler delete. In cabin it reveals the burbles in sports+ and it isnt even that loud. 180$ only. It completely eliminated my need for an exhaust system. Sure, if you have the funds go for a built system for sure. I just think they are too damn expensive for some pipes
@@EatingBarkWithMarc you dont need the whole thing. just need the entire rear axle exhaust section. which is one middle muffler box w two baby mufflers on either side of it. the only one i see on ebay is $1000. while the full uncut f90 exhaust is 1600. not sure if its worth that 1000 price just for that triple muffler thing but if it gives an agressive sound w no drone then its worth it. would just need to test the drone vs a straight pipe. bc straight pipe is always the most economic option LOL.
Hey James, I'm trying to copy your exhaust set up and have sourced an '18 f90 m5 base exhaust. How'd you connect your valve actuators? Do you have a part number/link for the harness you used?
Question how did you get the valves to work on the exhaust? Im thinking about doing the same sorta setup but im not sure on how i will control the other side. Since the M340 only has 1 plug for the actuator.
Hey love your car and mods. QQ. I have a 2019 G30 (540i) with a VRSF catless downpipe a stage 2 mhd tune however the pop and bangs and burbles are very quiet. Can that f90 exhaust fit my G30? What else can I do to make my car sound like yours without spending so much for exhaust? Thanks
I’m going to be looking into getting one myself. I can’t find anyone who gives wheel specs for a setup I like. What are the wheel specs of this? I know it’s staggered but no videos share specs it must be a BMW thing xD
Catless. On the newer cars, the smell is un-noticeable unless you're sitting still with your windows down. Even then it's barely noticeable. We just installed some for a customer whose wife was worried about it, and he reported back a few days after and said she didn't even notice!
hi I have a g20 M340i pre LCI 2022 car and i was wondering is it possible to run a downpipe on my car without an ECU tune? and if so which type of downpipe? catted downpipe or DE-Catted?
Depending on your location, there would be certain limitations to what you can or can’t do. Shoot us a quick email to info@studiorsr.com and we’ll help you get what you need 👊🏻
@@---Kaibro wont getting a catted downpipe just cause a blown turbo? I was told never to get a downpipe without a tune. Catted or non catted wont matter if tune cuz that removes CEL. Tell me, will getting a catted downpipe not harm the car in the long run? Losing power
Awesome! That sounds like a good list. Definitely recommend getting a catch can. Shoot us a quick email and we’ll get you a full quote with package discounts for everything 🤙🏻👍🏻 info@studiorsr.com
get a heat exhanger and chargepipe before intake. intakes dont do shit tbh. and bmw plastic chargepipes suck. you can up the boost once u have chargepipe + downpipe and still be reliable
Yeah, that’s the best part of the JQ wheel. Everything still works as stock with the buttons pre-programmed (cruise control, volume, radio, phone etc.)
70k in usa for this car. Double that price and you get the norwegian price (because of taxes). Just mention it, because when your politicians comes with taxes just know where it might ends.
@@Montana5x an m340i xdrive is 61k base price now. with a couple options its 65 and fully optioned its over 70k out the door now. with the LCI in 2023 they raised the price like crazy. the lci is very sexy though but not worth the price to me. the fully speced m340xdrive is the same price as a base rwd G80 M3 w manual trans, which I would rather grab even if it has no options or xdrive if i was buying new. or just rather pay high 40s for a very lightly preowned Pre-LCI M340 xdrive
@@Studio_RSR what kind of paint is that I’m picking up my new 340i next week and I been wanting to ask James but was afraid to? And where could you find the hood also!
Open box intakes like that suck up all the hot air near the turbo and you lose a lot of power especially on the track. One of the dumbest “upgrades” people do. It’s a fast track to heat soak 😂
Can you just replace your steering wheel without airbags and the car is still road legal? Is this only an American thing? Aren't you supposed to go to a Vehicle Inspection or some sort?
No, it’s not legal. You can be fined and it won’t pass inspection. I guess you have to replace the steering wheel back before you get it inspected. But I’m pretty sure newer cars only require emission checks. A full inspection isn’t needed for a few years for newer cars
