This is Global Lake View tower! I stayed here in 2017 and paid a bit higer than this for 1 bed back then, but it was lake view facing with a big balcony. You have definitely grabbed yourself a deal!

JLT - I understand why someone would choose there. There are a lot of clusters there (groups of 3 towers) like the letters of the alphabet, and many shops and restaurants. This apartment looks a little dated. These days newer apartments look more modern, instead of the browns and dark wood look of the kitchens and bathrooms. It's always better to be realistic about what you can afford though.
Yes! Dubai has cheap housing and you get to take home everything in tax if below 120k I think. I am moving in February 2025 and looking forward to this!! Also, this even applies if you are a US citizen potentially - it depends on your income though.
Moving into a 3 bedroom with maids room apartment in JLT at the end of the month. Rent is AED 180 000 annually. Deposit was AED 15 000 and Agent fees came to AED 9 000.

Hi Elena, Very nice place. How can they increase the rent in winter when you have a year contract? They can only increase rent when your contract expire in case you want to renew it and only by the Dubai rent calculator index.

@@KkKKkKKKKK709 yes they do have central. The bill can get high fast though so it’s recommended to leave it on a particular temperature for a portion of the day so that the home remains cool. When people leave the AC off and are away for extended periods of time, not only is there sand particles, but also damp, moldy environments on some items
