For $1M, I want to have autographs and personal meet and greets with each player, coach, and team owner. I also want the best of the best in terms of champagne, views, heck I even want to meet the halftime performers and get a personalized song during halftime!
Funny that he pointed out that SoFi lead to gentrification and then it was kind of glossed over and never brought up again. The reality is, this stadium is not about attracting regular fans to come in. It’s attracting the rich and famous to come to the games. There’s plenty of that in LA
As someone that works around that stadium I can tell you that it’s horrible traffic during the games , or worst during a music concert ( BTS ) it actually took me 1 hour just to get out of my jobs parking lot too get on century blvd . The problem was that to many share riders ( Uber and Lyft ) picking up their riders at my companies parking lot . Oh by the way the owner of the target property is heavily towing cars ……so if you park at the target parking lot for a game or concert you’re going to get towed . The businesses around the stadium actually are losing money because the locals stay away because of the horrible traffic.
I was at the BTS concerts and agree… ARMY helped direct traffic in some of the lots to help people get out. That 80k seat was also only $300 for VIP row 1 for me when they went on sale 😂
Perfect spot to put public transportation… not just buses but light rail and trains!! Check out this video it has great examples of stadiums and public transportation! Explanation part starts at 1: 03 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R6RaoGHZC3A.html
Interesting, do they not have any subways there? For my panthers, Charlotte has a good system of the CATS train and traffic at games isn’t even that bad
Another thing they didn't mention, the top of the stadium shows different graphics so if you fly over it at night you can see all different animations on it. It's super tight
For a million dollars They better stop the game whenever i go to the restroom the reffs better go on the loud speaker like "prior to the snap The Viewer in the VIP seat has called for A timeout Whenever he gets back its Second down at the 47"
As a Canadian, I was blown away back in the day when I remember paying 180 for nosebleeds at a Vikings game in 2000ish. When it was Culpepper and moss vs Manning and Harrison! EPIC GAME for mid season but still never would pay that even if i was rich.
He actually did a GREAT job. It was him being hisself instead of those general, politically correct interviewers that all do the same boring bland interview.
After experiencing Rams training camp and a game at SoFi last season. The Rams are doing exactly what the Dodgers have been doing for a long time. The Dodger game experience there is nothing like it before and after the game. You have to take care of your fans like the Dodgers do. Specially the most loyal fans. The Buss family needs to learn this to bring the Lakers back!
Jesus Christ is the love of your life. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7 ✝🌅 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. John 3:11 🌅 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ✝🌅
What a great host, honestly. He made this so much more entertaining and enjoyable to watch. Such a great personality for something like this. Kept it real and kept being himself regardless of who he was talking to. Love that.
@@CrabAOBANE Thanks for sharing your insight in such a wise and well-written comment. I can tell that you most definitely contribute your fair share to society
but your not paying to see the building be built lol your paying 1 million to sit and watch a 3 hour of fake football which should be called rugby as football is played with the feet
@@AnthonyBaldini89 how do you know when it was filmed? And I find it hard to believe they just let anyone onto their field. None of the stadium tours I have ever done has allowed that and that includes the Georgia Dome right before its final game.
Mans really did say he wanted to gentrify Inglewood lol and honestly in 3 years it will completely be gentrified. Clippers building there stadium in Inglewood too
Give it a couple decades and it will go back into disrepair. They love building fancy stadiums in Inglewood, but they never upgrade them. The reason they made it the worlds largest stadium by height is because they won't be spending another dime on expansion and so the stadium you see now will be the stadium the Rams play in until a major earthquake, or they move somewhere else.
@@AG-yc7vt no it won’t. There’s a lot of houses in LA that are more than 40 years old that survived earthquakes that’s not even modern day houses that’s why a lot of them are just now getting bought and tore down to build luxury apartments. Our last major earthquake was over 20 years ago they said we was supposed to have the big one a decade ago and it still hasn’t happened. The rams will be here for another 40 years and a lot of us won’t even be alive by then
For 1 million, I wanna call 5 plays, be on the field with team of choice, run out with the team, join them in the locker room during Halftime, and give a small speech to the crowd should the team win.
I’m a ravens fan and I’ve always sad the same thing about M and T Bank which is one of the best “normal” stadiums in the league. But this stadium is on another level
Am I missing something, but wouldn’t those “ground level” suites have your view blocked with the entire sidelines blocked by the teams on the sidelines???
I appreciate him bringing up the fact they admitted to gentrifying Inglewood, but I wish he pressed the issue further. Go up to the nosebleeds and ask people what they think, call out the COO on what he said. Who are these so-called representatives of the city that are asking to be gentrified?
I’ve been to Sofi stadium 4 times this year. Sat at the 2nd row 50yrd line, mid level, and nosebleed. Let me tell you there’s no bad seat in that stadium. Prices are just too inflated.
@@adamr9570 in all honesty it’s pretty sick but not really that technological advanced, the engineering was wonderfully however. In 300 years I’d expect better IMO
It took quite some time to put that place in. The planning, logistics, and actual construction (with only two REAL delays) is astounding. LA pulled it off . . . decadence IS possible!
Jesus Christ is the love of your life. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. John 20:28 ✝🌅 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 ✝🌅 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 ✝🌅 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3 ✝🌅
These stadiums are so much better than futball stadiums, considering how this is a sport that just has a fanbase in the US. Whereas futball has fanbases in every single country yet the only comparable stadium to this is probably Tottenham Hotspur stadium
It’s crazy how 1 mill isn’t nothing for some people. We gotta remember the ppl buying these tickets probably got more than 100 million in their bank accounts😂😂😂
The segment about gentrification was a sure fire way to make sure GQ doesn't get invited back to any event run by Rams management. They lost any special privilege's and deals they have with the management of SOFI stadium and the Rams for 6-12 months. They'll be treated the same as the rest of the press pool now. So you better appreciate it.
The government likes a lot of tax money without having to spend it on government services. Henceforth why they love middle class. Low class require too many services, while the wealthy have enough money to hire accountants to avoid to avoid the cities tax codes.
The people doing that probably just told their assistant to take care of it and will find out and laugh about it with their accountant at end of first quarter expenses review lol
This is actually some genuine reporting hidden in the showing off of the glitz and glamour. The question regarding gentrifying Inglewood was well placed.
"the process whereby the character of a poor urban area is changed by wealthier people moving in...typically displacing current inhabitants in the process." - this is the definition of Gentrification. Yes, you were correct. That is exactly what the COO said they are trying to do.
when i was young, nosebleeds was my favorite section 😂😂 better than being at front row closes to field, but that stand up comment about noesbleeds legend
There’s no bad seats? Except the plastic ones used as a way to get people to pay for more expensive seats. If they didn’t only care about making money then they’d have comfortable seats everywhere.
@@AnthonyBaldini89 You missed the whole point there bub. It’s not that the plastic seats are uncomfortable. But why aren’t all the seats soft instead of plastic. Think about it
