Another great property vid mate, you are knocking it out of the park at the moment! I think you have convinced me to look around Tha Pae rd and sarapei (probably murdered the spelling) , cheers.
I pay 300 $ for a 2 stories furnished house, 2 small b.r., 1 large master bedroom, 3 bathrooms with hot water, a 20sm living room, dining room, well equipped kitchen, garden and car porch in a nice community with security guard about 8 km off the Chiang Mai pollution and traffic jam just off the Chiang Rai road.
Rooms 1 and 3 were the best although number 3 very expensive lol. My only concern with condo's is noise as not many buildings are actually sound proofed. 6 or 12 months is a long time to be committed to a noisy place, it is the luck of the draw I know. But thanks for the video, great info 👍
What makes Thapae Road your favourite? I prefer the 2nd room to the 1st one, in the 1st one you can't see the TV because the dining table is in the way
It just feels like the middle of Chiang Mai to be, all my favourite places to eat are around there, close to Kad Luang, Loi Khro and the river as well :)
I can see why you like this road, I do too, one my favourite restaurants is there, and like you said it's close to Loi Kroh and the river, I will definitely be checking this condo out in June, do they have 1 bedroom with balcony? I like that you film the walk up to the condo, that's a nice touch, keep up the good work buddy! 😊
Can you just do a quick bed test ie soft med or concrete, also contracts ie is it true some tenants have to pay for something dying eg A/C TV etc. That is NOT fair, so that clause should be removed. Its not the tenants fault the A/C shit-itself. Could you find out please.
Thank you, that is very nice and super interesting. I have a question for you : what do you think about the pollution in Chiang Mai ? Are you oki with it, because the burning season is during 4/6 months now ? Thank you in advance
Hi Jon, wondering what you think about the burn off this year? Chiang Mai is my choosen spot as a 51yr old dude to enjoy the retirement visa for the next 2 years. Arriving Feb/March, straight into the burning season. I play electric geetar (bands, etc), so would love to do sit ins and blues nights, which area would you recommend until April/May?
Yeah the burning season isn't ideal but for me it is what it is, hmm I think it depends, you couldn't go wrong in this location or Nimman as well would be good for that type of things :)
My understanding is that there have been no anti-Israel demonstrations in Thailand. I don't want this site to get political. But I do have a question: There are thousands of transgender people in Thailand. They live there openly and without fear of "actions" against them. My understanding is that transgender people live in Israel in complete freedom from fear. Not so in Islamic countries. My question: "What do transgender men think about finding themselves in a Muslim Country?" Supposing it were accidental, like a plane being held there for mechanical problems and having to go to a hotel, say in Iran or even Egypt? I know gay people in the US who will NOT get on any plane that might go in transit through a Muslim Country. I'm just curious. We love Thailand and have been there many times. I personally think that transgender people have a right to freely live their own lives. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)
