My daughter lived in Brookline when she lived in Boston. She had to share an apartment with 3 other roommates to make it affordable.

I totally see that. It’s almost impossible not living with someone and affording them rent on a young adult income

Hi Arpit, glad you were able to snag that apartment! I definitely feel the struggle, I rent a 1br for over 2k but split the rent with my partner, our rent went up but I doubt we would be able to afford an entire move right now since they want first, last, broker fee, your first-born child, etc... it is wild out here in Boston!

First born child is real. Next thing you’ll be signing soul contracts for a 1BR in hell as joint deal with the hellish rent you pay in Boston. Thanks for commenting btw, even for me it’s nice to know I’m not the only one affected by the crazy rent prices here

Glad you shared this, a reality check for folks looking to move here. I had a similar experience when I moved back to Boston, not fun. BTW Kenny turned up at a salon/barber shop in the South End! A friend is booked with him this week, I’ll let you know how it went.

Hi Arpit! You might try down in Dorchester. The Red Line goes right through there so you could park there car and take the T everywhere! Glad you’re back!

Nick! I honestly would but I want somewhere closer to work you know. Preferably waking as you have seen in so many of the Harvard videos! I just want a shorter commute, where I don’t have to depend on the T

Emma, I’m gonna be scrambling every last cent I have once I move, I already am in preparation but for real the rent is insane. Like I couldn’t just up and move to Boston today if I wanted to (if I already wasn’t here)
