The amount of character in this house has to be appreciated and respected. All the cool wallpaper and wacky bits and bobs are all well and good but even just details like the family photos on the walls and tables throughout the house and all the colours really make this house a home which I feel is somewhat rare to see nowadays in a property that is worth many millions...everyone wants high gloss, shiny and squeaky bright with no character. Was refreshing watching this one :)
I love this house! You can tell the owners are super fun. So much personality and character in the interior design. Every room has a different vibe. Imagine growing up in this house… incredible!
This has to be one of my favourite properties I have seen! . Beautiful exterior design, amazing flow to the interior space, superb kitchen and I agree with Tom+Jas , the pool/spa complex is truly magnificent! That garden is also wonderful, huge but yet somehow intimate due to the tall hedges ( not to mention that beautiful willow tree ) . This house has it all! 👌
This house is breathtakingly beautiful. Well designed and no expense spared. Looks absolutely smashing. Exquisite interior design and gorgeous garden. 😍
One of my favourite homes you’ve toured. So much character and very tastefully decorated. That pool was incredible. Thats officially the dream home. Thanks for sharing guys. Excellent presenting skills too, you have a very real world style. Keep up the great work ❤️
My favourite video of yours! Allowing the dog to go through with you and giving him cuddles is so sweet. And probably the best interiors I’ve seen on here too. Amazing well done ❤
I love the fact that it feels like a HOME, not a showhouse. One thing it hasn't got that the silver-black-grey showhouses have is the high ceilings of those new builds typically on some of Surrey's gated estates etc. But high ceilings aren't for everyone. Lovely place overall. FINEST FEATURE: Theo! 💌💌
I looked at the images of this property when it first came on the market at the end of June and the interior of the property looked quite dark, and I have to say I wasn't that enamoured by it at all and I quickly dismissed it but a week or so later the estate agent added a video for the property and I thought that showed the property off much better than the images alone, and now your video tour has taken it up another notch completely, and from originally disliking this house I've changed my opinion completely - the rooms are so big and spacious and although the interior design isn't something I would choose, it works really well and it adds a lot of charachter and charm to the property. Rarely do you find a house with this much space and big spacious rooms, with an indoor pool at this price point in the middle of Surrey. I think it's spectacular house now and if I was fortunate enough to have that sort of money sitting in my bank account, this property would be a very serious contender on my dream home list. Well done as always guys, this video tour is exceptional and you've excelled yet again - I love your channel.
Of all the houses that I've seen on this channel this is by far my favourite. It is glamorous and smart but you wouldn't be afraid to live in it & use it. Some of the other homes are so flash that I'd be scared to use the furniture! This is spot on, I'd love to know what part of Surrey it is.
Just an advice, it would be nice not only listing the interior size of the property at the beginning of the video, but also the size of the whole plot (land). For those type of rural detached property, the size of the whole plot can often be more important than the actual interior space.
Best one yet, love how every room has its own identity, bold colours, good use of raw materials, retro, vintage style, instead of the usual plain white boring all the same rooms style, minimalist look, 5 million bargain
One of the nicest interior designs I've seen, find the neutral colours most houses have so boring. They've made it colourful and interesting and done it with taste
Good grief you guys are good. I haven't seen this channel since you first came aboard and you were just finding your feet in front of camera. However, the presentation now is fluid, warm and natural and you really bring out the subject matter. Well done!!
I love the exteriors of the house--the architecture and the grounds, but the interior is a bit disorienting. It's a Frankenstein of interior design in my opinion, it looks like 20 interior designers were hired to furnish each room and tried to one-up each other. But I must say, Tom and Jas are my favorite presenters on this channel.
I agree, the house itself is beautiful, but it's almost as if the owner has gone for maximalism but hasn't hit the mark. There's too many clashing styles, I wish I had the opportunity to reorganize the furnishings (I'm qualified in design), it's like they've tried too hard and gone with everything and anything which is in style currently.
I’m surprised by how low the ceilings are. I was expecting Tom to crack his head at any moment going through those doorways. Here in the USA they will have Designer Showcase homes open for several weeks to raise money for a charity. Each room is by a different designer and that’s exactly what this looks like. Cheers to Tom and Jas for the great job they do as hosts. 🥂🍾
I’ve watched other house show arounds but Tom and Jas beat them all. It’s refreshing to see a young perspective delivered professionally. What a great team! Keep it up.
Great home guys, loved the pool area. PLEASE PLEASE can you do more on the garage areas when you film a property? I love garages and cars, I love looking at how people decorate their homes but I also love to see how they set out their cars/bikes/tools/ car equipment. We rarely get to see that aspect, but when we do it is too quick. You can always blank out their number plates for privacy. A great garage area is a major buying point to me, I can’t be the only one, can I?
I LOVE this house. It's not just a show house but a home with character. In this home, more is most definitely more. Nothing minimalist and grey. Hurray!!! At last a home where colour rules.
Would be interesting to learn about the heating system, underfloor heating etc., technical details. Also more indept details about materials, marble, wood etc. but also the types used. Faucets, wash basins etc. etc.
I'm speechless... I understand what someone wrote about the interior design, but I loved it. I can see myself living in this house with very small changes. Just a question: what stays in the house when sold? Pool table? Any furniture?
Absolutely my taste, inside and outside. Beautiful in every way ❤ Would be good to know if such houses are sold with the furniture etc. or whether one would have to completely refurnish after buying 🤔
A lot of what makes the interiors beautiful (incredible?) is the furniture. Does that actually come with the house, or do we have to imagine it without the furniture and decide if the interiors are still great?
Huge congrats to whomever designed the interior, Fingers crossed it is not too divisive to potential buyers, although I'm guessing if you can afford 5 million you can afford to redecorate. :) Well done to the two presenters who avoided every cliche I hate, e.g. "the kitchen is the heart of the home" + "bringing the outside in" etc etc, bravo :) :)
