The hugest gift I find in IFS is the ability to see how the parts of you you’ve demonized are actually TRYING to serve and help you, which helps you welcome them back as parts of yourself, which is a warmer feeling. Then you can honor where you need that protection - and then you can get curious about them

Curiosity is what has helped me grow and stay sober , and thank you for this change of perspective. Gratitude love and kindness towards myself has helped me , showing love to my past addictive self. I relate ao much to what you are saying , shows me that I'm on the right path🙏😊
Omg this is so interesting 😱👍 amazing you did that and now help others a lot. 😊❤️ I know what you are talking about, I was using a lot of substances, I was heavily addicted to some of them and when I quit, it just made me feel so good and my vibe went through the roof.
