ok it's stupid that a deino that size can grab a pachy bigger than it, but the way it hauls ass back to the water with the camera shaking like someone attached a gopro to its back is hilarious. 0:30
Not so fun fact: a Deino that size can run faster than Hyspi. Edit: apparently people think Im talking about real life for some reason, but no, im talking about The Isle...
@@sorviar What the hell are talking about? In The Isle a juvie/sub-adult Deino CAN outrun a Hypsi. In real life a Deino wouldn't even dream about doing so!
It’s bad enough when Tenos have to fear the grab of Deinos barely 1/2 the size of themselves, we’re almost to the point where we have to be wary of fresh spawns.
Can't even land to eat as ptera, because tiny juvies you can't even see in the grass will run to you and kill you with like 2 bites. The devs are freaking idiots, they can never get anything balanced.
I think increasing stamina and hydration drain without good diet for the deino is a good balance, otherwise their only threat is still a stego and not time itself.
That's not true, they're a threat to their own species, and if they're small enough. You have the ability to break them. Sounds more like a skill issue to me.
Juvi and Sub Deinos can just grab full grown Tenos and since they have improved stamina they can just happily sprint across huge distances with them between their jaws. It's hilarious and broken at the same time
Young gators/crocs can be pretty agile and fast when they're young, but from a gameplay point of view I can see why its considered unfair, even tho I'm a Deino main lol.
Mm yes let me casually pick up this pachy that’s like double my weight (or should be) and run with it at the speed of sound to the water and drown it 👌🏻
This is why a crocs stam should drain proportionally to the size and weight of the creature it's carrying Or make crocs lose a fuck load of stam if sprinting while carrying someone
Not gonna defend the deino on being able to carry you. But I am gonna continue to be surprised by how many players think being 2ft from something that wants to eat you is somehow safe. If you get caught by a deino on land that is 100% on you. But yeah the ability to carry a pachy at half growth is a bit much.
@@dablob8255 Situational awareness. They're not in the bushes mid map or coastal or on hillsides. So again 100% on you, you know they live in and around water, so pay more attention. They also can't stay on land for that long and can't run for long, so again 100% on you. If you have eyes, don't have broken legs and don't have bored herbi syndrome you shouldn't be dying to a Deino on land.
Am I wrong or did the Pachy just trot away rather than sprint once he hit the ground? Seemed like there was no sense of urgency. I've definitely made that mistake in The Isle before myself.
Honestly, crocs that size could definitely do something almost as great but yknow, they’re not humans behind a computer that have no sense of life or death. That’s why balancing>realism
im a deino main... i know that sounds bad but let me explain i only go after mix packers unless im hungry or another dieno dsperatley needs food and usually if im hungry i go after fish i just find stegos anoying like they cross the river deriberatley to go out of their way to kill me like... iu just spent 6 hours sitting in the water eating fish so i could be a cool croc and you come aloung and kill me for no reaso
you had all the stamina and time in the world to run away and then you walked directly into an adult crocodile's mouth wdym what😭pachy players when they die to anything
dawg how can he grab you aint no way ur less than half his weight and how tf can a deinosuchus actually run that far, that fast, for so long, while grabbing something
The only way pachy is broken is because they bash each other nonstop. Their bleed resistance is so low they can die to the weakest dino in the game, Omni.
I didn't think he would scale the rock so quickly. + if he did try and grab me, in my mind I have moral authority to beat on him when he inevitably fails to carry me anywhere... which obviously didn't work out.
You could had kill that croc when it was going up... and in fact perfect spot you could legit knockback it and caused it a serious damage including death
Man, you should've walked underwater to the rocks and climbed them instead of walking to that deino to say hello, the fool that grabbed you had no idea what he was doing, he was just biting the water 😂You could have survived that. Deinos are never your friends, everyone hates pachys.
@@toros7983 Yes so basically the juvenile deino has the double the weight of your adulte patchy, and that is what you need to lunge/grab. There is actually a wiki that explains everything you should check it someday ^^
Juvis in general have way too much stam.. why did they make it so overtuned? I remember legacy days where, in a herd, you were the slowest member mostly due to stam (which actually made sense).
Usually I'd get mad on the receiving end's behalf but since you were a pachy I regret to say I feel exactly 0 sympathy. A pachy death is always a good thing no matter what the cause
