Hey when I was a kid loud was cool. I couldn’t tell the difference between good loud and bad loud. It’s still a nice truck. I straight piped everything from the time I was 16 to the time I was 29. I lived the phrase “loud pipes and tattoos.”
I think it's funny having stock motors in trucks and straight piping them. The big tires make it even slower. It sounds like they're hauling ass, but thats just them struggling to get to the speed limit lol. My junk is loud too, but it's funny to see
Ive got an 82 ramcharger running true dual 2 3/4in out to glasspacks and the side dump its loud as hell shoots flames and pops real nice i cant complain with the 37 year old exhaust
I like the farm truck exhuast leak sound tho, always have. My grandpa had a beat to hell 70s chevy feed truck that probably didn't even have manifolds on it and it was my favorite growing up just because it was noisy
My 97 sounded like that ,but to loud so gutted the cat and put in a Flowmaster original 40 series 3" in duel 3"out half way down no tail pipes it sounded awsum no cracking and banging just good v8 throat.
I got a 5.9 and 5.2 and it sounds pretty damn good and close too me I'd be proud of it especially if it's just a muffler delete lemme kno what I got goin on under there cause I've been thinking about deleting my mufflers on my 5.2 I knew it'd sound good on the 5.9

Yea no. For whatever reason the 5.2 and the 5.9 sound like actual dog shit without some length of pipe. I have my 5.9 ram side piped with a 4”x12” tip and it sounds no where near what that sounds like
How much did it cost for your shit to sound broke? 3" to y pipe and dual 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 to 3" tips and you have loud that doesn't sound like a manifold gasket shit
Nice truck. But I imagine that families with sleeping babies or anyone that is trying to get some rest, do not appreciate the racket. If everyone did this we would be at each other's throats very quickly. On the highway you probably can't hear the radio or anything else. Have you driven it for five hours or longer to get to a destination far away? Exposure to loud noise raises your blood pressure and can cause anxiety, and of course, can damage your hearing. You do realize that you can easily start a brush fire without even knowing it?
my 5.2 has 182456miles on it and hits rev limiter just about 5 times a week with no cat and an m-80 to a 2.5in and sounds a fuck ton better than that rod knockin shit box auto HAHA junk
